A combination of factors has led to this woman’s character and behaviour and what is now inflicted upon us. The father is gullty in part for not checking her behaviour. Absent mother, jailed, absent father working long hours, child left to it’s own devices, father overindulging child due to feeling guilty about being absent - trying to make up for absent mother, father giving child whatever child wanted and putting up with sulky behaviour as seen in videos. Just a few possibilities to start with …

Meghan only got 'deals' to talk about the British Royal Family, her husband is the Prince. She couldn't trade on her name as an actress, because she has no stand-out-talent, and while she's good looking, she's not a stunner. Ironically, she might have been able to act again IF she had dropped the title, but you can't keep a royal cachet and scramble for bit parts!

She is not getting 'the big deals' because, unlike Greta Garbo, professionally she is not a big deal. She is not a global icon of beauty and glamour. She is not seen as an embodiment of feminine allure and sophistication. She is an attractive, middle-aged, ex-jobbing actress who did well enough for herself to marry a wealthy man with a global public profile. She did not personally possess (along with almost everybody else, so it is not a criticism of her) sufficient charisma to excite the public and garner their goodwill once the excitement over a royal wedding died down. She is now known mostly for her bitter relationships with both sides of her extended family, and for her apparent self-regard. Although she can and does generate attention, it is not an attention that drives a desirable frenzy of mass purchasing in the marketplace. Ever increasingly, it appears that people do not want to 'buy in' to the fantasy of this woman. Accordingly, she is of limited commercial value to companies wishing to promote their products.
