You totally made me realize how much work a girl puts into her make up every day. I really had no idea lol. I watched it all to see the transformation happen in action. (Not saying you looked bad before hand because you didn't) but wowzers that stuff really brings out the beauty. I respect you girls even more now! Love your videos. Very beautiful.

To everyone saying how BRAVE Maria is for showing herself without make up... I throw up in my mouth a little bit every time someone calls a woman brave for not wearing make up. Not because she isn't brave, but because that shouldn't be a brave act. Virtually all of men since the beginning of time have been doing it, yet society continues to reinforce the notion that a woman should cover up her blemishes and make herself as flawless and "feminine" as possible. This should be accepted, but it simply is not. Instead, when a woman goes natural, they act like we're going into battle. Lastly, I love Maria.

Honestly, I think these videos, your more simple ones, are the best. I always get the most tingles from them, because they include your soft speaking, sometimes something as simple as tapping random objects or brushing hair. Thank you for this video :)

+GentleWhispering Also Maria, just a little comment--maybe be careful with your eyebrow pencil that's actually for drawing, the led in it may contain properties that may not be good for your skin! Just what I thought when I heard you say it. Wanted to make sure you knew for sure that it's safe

This is one of my favorites from Maria. She has many good videos but this one is my saved favorite. The affirmations, the crinkle of her makeup bag, the rawness, the soft voice amd the tutorial are all amazingly relaxing. BRAVO!

I love your makeup application. I'm so used to seeing makeup gurus and their brushes for eyeshadow but the sponge applicators worked really well with this look.

i used the sponges when i was younger for many years. though u can make something look okay.. it will never look at good as when you use a brush. of course, not everyone wants to walk around looking all professional, which is cool too! to each their own :) sponge applicators can look blended too but you have to try verryy hard

Every time, before you look into the mirror, tell yourself how beautiful you are and then look into the mirror. This technique will force you to see your beauty. Physical beauty is overrated. I'm sure it helps when someone develops their own personal style. Eventually those girls will do the same, if they ever wish to develop as people. I don't know much about makeup but I assume it's not unlike being an artist. Except the canvas is your face.

Andrew Jenkins Yeah, it really is an art form, just like pottery or sculpture work is an art with more of a basis on 3d form. We makeup artist casuals also have to keep our skin condition in mind too, as constantly putting on makeup and not taking care of our skin (cleansing, moisturizing, sunscreen) will wear our skin out. my mom died only a few years ago when I was 11, I never really did get that experience of my mom teaching me how to do make up and stuff, I started watching make up tutorials when I was about 12, and to this day I now wear a full face of make up every day and get compliments on it. you really can do a lot with being just self taught as you demonstrate in this video, it's amazing what you can do with just a few colors and eyeshadow applicator, honestly I could never live without make up brushes, you do it amazingly, it looks so awesome! If you ever do need guidance just look up make up tutorials on KZfaq and click on a few and you will branch off from there, it could give you a few tips and tricks, I love your videos so much ♥️♥️♥️

Thank you Maria, I used to love to watch my mom put her makeup on when I was a little girl. I recently lost my mom and I came upon this video in your older stuff and for about 40 mins I was that little girl again. You are so gifted in ASMR, you have a very calming way about you. Can you plz do a healing video I had the worst birthday ever I cried twice at my new school for the first time and this jerk messed up my braces my foot got ran over by the lunch cart and my foot has brushes all over it and it hurt really bad my birthday was the worst day of my life and my foot still hurts and it would be nice if you could do a healing video it would really cheer me up and brighten my day😥

Can you do a video with more spray sounds? I love the spray sounds at the end of the video when you are spraying your perfume and i also like the sound of the perfume bottle, like how the perfume floats inside. Would be great if you can do a video with more of that, like a hairdresser video with a spraybottle or something! :)

Yay! I'm early! I want to say that you have the most tender and relaxing hand movements. I am deaf, not born with it, but I used to experience asmr. I got in a car crash and I now experience a rare "visual asmr" with relaxing hand movements. I love you so much Maria! you have helped me, and alot of others more than you think

I really hope the different brands of beauty products you used in this video, paid you or sent you free products or something. You are so naturally beautiful they should have you on their payroll for advertising. I just started watching your videos about a month ago, and you never cease to amaze me with how classy you are. This is amazing. I've watched some asmr videos where the person is naturally boisterous so it sounds like a loud person trying to be quiet but you sound so naturally soft spoken. And the positive affirmations were amazing to anybody watching this, especially young people! Amazing job! Well done!
