After having watched countless of makeup guru videos, this is such a breath of fresh air, mostly because this is basically how I go about a makeup look lmao. Like, why use a beauty blender when you got fingers to rub in foundation? And I ALSO feel like I blend all my contour out because I''m scared it's too harsh, so in the end it's like I didn't put anything on lol. Anyways, I loved this! You guys should definitely do more videos like this :)

Oh, that's not at all what I meant! I just meant that it was nice to see a makeup routine that was similar to mine and not all makeup guru-y and super fancy! Of course this channel gives us a look inside their practices and competitions, but I also think their vlogs and videos are a way for them to express themselves outside of the rink. We get to see their personalities and daily life, not just as the Shibsibs, ice dancers extraordinaire, but also just as Alex and Maia Shibutani, normal young adults having fun. I, personally, would love to see more of that!

You did very well! Maybe when you have the actual time to do so. You could do a full face makeup! As for how you choose to do it. You do what is right and most comfortable for you!! If others don't like it or if they have a problem/ issue with how you do things. They don't have to watch.

Omg I LOVE that you applied some of your makeup with your fingers because that’s exactly what I do and I always through it was weird because everyone else seems to use a brush or sponge for everything but seeing you apply makeup almost the same as me makes me so happy!

I'm SO THANKFUL that I found this because I felt like an odd ball putting on my makeup with hands and stuff. Whenever other women hear or see that I use hands they look at me like I'm some psycho and although I usually don't let things get to me, somehow this really upset me lately. So yeah...
