The intro is what I needed to hear today. I lost my grandfather to suicide a little over a month ago, and I’ve found myself trying to be “okay” for everyone else and not giving myself the moments to feel the wealth of emotion that comes with grieving and processing a trauma. It’s okay not to be okay.

I agree with you 100% about not always showing that one gets low moods, melancholy and emotionally overwhelmed. Things happen and like you say that’s OK just try not to stay like that forever. It's absolutely fine to allow yourself to feel your emotions...it's toxic to hols them in or take them out on those that are there for you and love you...allow your friends and family to be there for you it's all they can offer you in your time of need and hugs and kisses are priceless and precious ❤ 💖 🤗

Yesss! I just had a training about this at work! We were learning about our mindset, and how it affects our interactions with coworkers and students and one of the things we talked about was “toxic positivity”: when you are so positive that you don’t allow yourself to work through your emotions and feel sad, mad, etc. My stress relief is also makeup!

We are right there with you love. Something in the air. But we are strong and resilient and whatever it is - you will get through it. I love how real you are in these type videos and there is so much power in letting yourself feel the emotion - but only for a minute. I'm glad to.see a new makeup video. I know how you feel not feeling good and you have all these different emotions mine mostly sad because my mom passed away last year in May from cancer so it's mostly sad she's not here anymore but watching your videos help alot because I just love your videos

Hi, I love what you did with the blue shadow! And also thanks for your transparency regarding head space. Sometimes people just don't feel themselves and may feel down but as long as you don't wallow it will be fine. Great advice for your audience. Your so relatable & just seem like such a kind person. So gorgeous, I’m also really glad that you’re not using filters/face tune, you don’t need them and girls need to see realistic skin that looks like their own mimicked back at them. My little niece had such a difficult time with her self esteem, social media makes these young kids think that no one has issues or difficulties, your so positive and a good role model for women & girls alike.❤️

I'm new to your channel but was just discharged from the hospital 2 nights ago after a 10 day stay and I'm so glad to hear you say it's ok to be down or not feel totally up....just try not to dwell there. I get it. You're also right when you say a good listening ear can help. I think your make up turned out beautifully (make up is therapeutic for me also)and you seem to be just as beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside. I’ve lost my parents and older sister within a short period of time. Then when I thought my family healed, we lost my younger sister to COVID. She had health issues that compromised her. It tore my heart apart to explain to my grandkids that they weren’t going to see their tia anymore. This loss hit me so hard and I’m trying to get myself out of this. One day at a time.
