I assume that you don't manage to take out the dandelion while the flower is yellow, that is very important. Mowing the front and side takes approximately 3+ hours depending how much edging I have to trim. The backyard lawn another 45 minutes + 20 minutes edging with a trimmer.

Yeah. I live in TX the place where fire ants are everywhere. I can't even feed my cat outside b/c of ants. (no matter what treatments I try.) I can only imagine how this would work. Super ants hyped up on sugar. B/c sugar is granular. Unless it were heated and dissolved in water and re-watered heavily you'd still have sugar granules. Also it seems it's more of you popping weeds out than anything.
