I plug in a night light in every room of the house and place a shallow tray of the soap water in front of the nightlight. Then I change it out daily.

Used Frontline Plus but fleas still on pets, 2 dogs and 1 cat. I’m thinking that chemical doesn’t work very well anymore. Anyone with ideas?

This does not rid your house of fleas at all. It simply reduces their numbers. Flea comb day and night!

@0 I'm going to assume you are using a dog flea comb. They are the worst! The tines are too far apart and yes, you get next to nothing when you comb. I use cat flea combs. Walmart is selling a plastic one now with 2 sizes of tines. On my cats I use the smaller side and get a good 95% of all the fleas as well as all the eggs on them. Remember, keep lightly soapy water next to you so you can quickly dunk the comb (so that the fleas don't have a chance to jump off) and then you can pull off whatever you have on the comb and put it in the bowl. If you're successful, the bowl water will turn red because the eggs will dissolve. On my dogs the areas that are the worst are the top of the tail at the butt and down their back legs. Good luck!

@@terrysprague9262 the water turns red because the flea POOP is dissolving. The eggs do not dissolve...
