Completely agree..we are the average of the 5 people we hang out mostly...so family and closest friends if they are not succesful they will hold you down while you try to elevate,they may do it on pourpose cause of ignorance or just try to protect you in some ways..either way ITS BAD! having good mentors even if its on line,but listening,studying etc.. great people like grant cardone ,brian tracy,napoleon hill ,earl nightingale and few others is helping me a lot !!!

for many years I thought my mother was against my success search, one time she said to me, "why dou you have many books?", mom I want to go to another state for work,.." why? thats not necesary..", that is really hard, she wanted me to have a steady normal job, specially when she doesnt understand, the struggle of the first years, when you are trying to do something, she still doesnt understand what I do,

Really glad I found this. Started getting ruthless without realising it and have people try to make me believe something was wrong with me. Family was a tough one. This so spot on and hard hitting, your associations will pull you under water if they are not at your level or above, energy robbing and sucking family that cant figure out how to wipe their selves much less pay for the toilet paper are the vortex swirling down the toilet. You can love them you just don't have to spend time on them. I am at that point where I have stripped down to a small handful of good folks that are positive and high performance.

Whenever a family member or friend was trying something new or a new cash making venture I always tried to encourage and support them .. (as long as it was legal and ethical). Not sure why so many people are naysayers. As I once told someone .. 'Don't give up .. nothing in life like that comes easy .. besides folks are making big change at it .. Keep going right at it... that's all". IMO anyone who is a constant naysayer of such things one ventures into is either one of two things.. or both: 1. A bit jealous that you actually have the nerve and dedication to venture out on a limb and are trying some things. 2. Doesn't want you to succeed for basically the same jealous reasons ...

I am diagnosed with Autism and my biggest struggle has been dealing with people. One positive that I have done was to get rid of people that were negatively influencing my life. However, I have been dealing with loneliness and not having any friends/ contacts because I am not sure if they are negative or positive influence. How to be ruthless and be effective and efficient with people? If I don't trust people , then I cannot be successful in the business world. Thanks for the video.

So get your attitude right and stop hating on other's people success :) Btw, im not a fanboy of that guy, I don't even watch him anymore, but the facts are there, because of him I've started to think differently, started to read A LOT which benefited my life in many ways. So just because you can extract value from a successful person, that doesn't mean he or she gives whack advice ;)

I agree. Like I said I've almost completely stopped watching him after I got his main point. But that doesn't mean he's wack, he has his on way, just like Gary.
