Something I did in the lead up to court last time I went through it (yup going to family court for the third time with the third person and only got two kids 🤦🏻‍♀️) was talk to my doctor about it. I got put on a very mild anxiety med, I have a sensitive system, that I could take during the daytime and did whenever I needed to get through a meeting or court. I highly recommend speaking to your primary doctor about it and remember the health department is available if you don't have insurance.

Hi Mrs / Ms Sandy Hernandez, i have a very important question for you if you don't helping me understand my legal right / if i have a chance at avoiding being locked up ma'am? I'm just curious as to, how do we bring up in pre trial ma'am, information about me understanding if I will go to prison or jail please, for not being capable of paying the back child / child support for over a 1 year in a area that has no employment due to change of address out of state family emergency moving owing 11,000 something dollars & just found work that I hope they can hire me for in a different city, will they arrest me Ma'am, just on debt owed alone for Floods / Alabama states we're currently in & being issued to go to court for?

Well I have a entire neighborhood to literally vouch for me that she's threatened my life on multiple occasions & has intimidated & forced abuse upon me alot in the past caused me a broken rib & two black eyes I swore to never lay a hand on a female no matter what as a gentleman so I'd just run or try to block it with a pillow or protect like a shield the kids she'd tried to beat up or hit! She is a drug & alcohol abuser but that's another fear too, that if she's high in something & just snaps on me, & 911 won't do anything about her assaulting me or saying her usual death threats against me, then what can i do..... I'm nervous to be even remotely near her", she has hated me since I refused to pay her money for her drugs alcohol & never forgave me for it, I thought she was just having some bad months or weeks or a bad year, here or there, but the abuse kept getting worse & after she drew a knife in front of the kids on me, i said this is scary & WAY""""""" to dangerous hostile of an environment & then she told me she would kill me someday, cos I wasn't supportive of her drugs & a cop even told her if anyone else sees you hit him, he'll have to arrest her for witnessing a violent assault on a kind non-threatening by-standard😭i suffered for 10 yrs blindly faithful & afraid & tried my bestest to be a good daddy, i don't wanna see the kids go through anything in the future because of her, they deserve a better environment & future😢 it really depresses me & Yes ma'am I still have trauma nightmares from her & what she's done, i know, a fierce man able to fend off many ah-men" yet Trimble's to her narcotic rages & abuse, sad huh? I can't help it, I mena I've stopped her from hitting kids before but never once laid or raised a hand against her or any female in my entire life! Sadly as weak as that sounds, it's cos I'm a good man!! But I do get nervous nonetheless & if I'm locked away, then how can I afford to make money to pay it or to pay for her child support she pressed against me one-day when they were like 3 years old, they're 8 years old now & I'm stressed out concerned for there well being, & don't wanna get locked up & the only person paying for anything isn't her, it's her grandma, cos she takes the money off of her card & buys things with cash ECT & there's no way to trace that! & Claims she's paying for everything that even I had covered as gifts for the children & i was the sole provider for 3 years no recipes cos she burned what I did have & a daddy doesn't think about keeping receipts thinking you're partner is going to press child support on you & take advantage of your circumstances & then she even laughed at me telling me she'll keep her pawns to collect her drug & alcohol money from me.... I can prove things just by her admitting to it all on a recording ECT if we had a conversation from a phone call but I even get nervous thinking about calling her for several reasons just to check up on my precious Angels that I've tried to reach out to.... Tried to be there for & did my everything I knew capable for them to have that promising secure futures, two identical twins girls that is, but also they need me in there life's ma'am, I've wanted to apologize for the length of this letter comment written ma'am & thank you sincerely for taking the time, energy, efforts out to read this all ma'am, may God keep & bless you & your's, to you all, Sincerely, ~Paul

!?!Thank you for all of your advice and help preparing people for what is to come. ??? Why is it that some divorce cases take forever and some are over very quick??? I have been battling for nearly 5 years; my stbx has drug us through juvenile court, made false accusations about the care of our children meanwhile hurting them physically with little to no accountability. Then, I have a friend who filed last October (2022) and her divorce will be final next month. She gave up all house and money, solely ask for their kids' educational and medical. I have fought for nothing but the safety of our kids! What gives?! P.S. I dont want to be mean - can you please keep your hair out of your face? It is distracting.

Why are psychopaths so believable? Because they are calm and friendly. Unrattled. Provoke them and they just go silent. This is something that judges need to understand. The calmest one is not necessarily the honest one. Unfortunately, in my case, the liar was believed and the honest one was given zero credibility. Verbal testimony needs to be given a lot less weight now that perjury is not an option to pursue. There's a reason for the perjury laws. Yet they are NEVER enforced anymore. It's a joke. Makes court the playground for liars and narcissists.

how do I ask for discovery from the other side? I don't understand how to do this. I have trial in family law and I'm the respondent . I didn't see a court form in WA state .

Been there with CPS. Get the report. That shows you 1 didn't do what you were accused of and 2 will likely include an opinion on what type of parent/person you are. Mine says I'm a "new age hippie type" 😆 and that I'm a dedicated and loving parent. Also advise, if it's still an option at this point, be Extremely nice to the authorities and explain what's going on with empathy for their time and resources being wasted. Don't take it out on them and stay focused on what's best for the child(ren) as that's what they care about and why they're there. In the end my ex called so often, and got others to call, CPS blocked his number and noted in their system I was being harassed and had been investigated already. After a year or so he gave up on that tactic and I didn't hear from the authorities after the investigation ended.

How much do courts care about phone calls with a almost 5yo? My daughter sometimes doesn't want to engage and it causes her distress when speaking to the other parent resulting in her becoming emotional and expressing "he keeps calling my name and it's annoying" so this results in me trying to help her express and communicate that she doesn't want to talk and to say gn.. he then tells her I am teaching her to disrespect him and he's going to do that back when she's with him... the difference is when my daughter doesn't want to talk and go back and play I tell her I love her and hang up with her... we are going back to court as I just mailed in documents to modify the order since he doesn't show up or cancels visits and is late bringing her to school Mondays to I'm trying to remove them.. but how will courts view calls? I know minimal but u know narcs exaggerate

I am in custody battle with my ex of 23 years. He’s always told me no one’s going to believe me. I am very much alone in the world of all his people. I am gaslighting myself constantly about not being believed if I didn’t have the children I would’ve fallen right back into, his fantasy world of lies and abuse in a nutshell, I am so scared of not being believed I have factual, hard evidence, and I still think no one’s going to believe me

Facts like Police reports are highly credible. Also subpoena 3rd Party neutral Professionals that you are sure of their testimony

I've heard you give some awful advice, as far as family health is concerned. By law, sure it makes sense. But this courtroom dynamic and mindset, where a lawyer's job, is to ATTACK, the other side, you vilify parents and loved ones and break hearts. It hurts kids the most! Shame on you, you are a part of the problem
