Spotted ball #3 around 13:12 and 10m on the pull back. Since Tim is in for the big bucks, might as well rip out the old drain and have Gavin finish out a proper drain

From the condition of the pipe I thought "THIS is a job for....someone else to dig up". The plus side is you can show the customer that he's not saving money by calling you out repeatedly because it will just get worse.

Madball, Toad and Traffic Control to the rescue! Looked like some unskilled worker put the strings together - ugh. I wondered how that many balls got in the pipe then remembered as a 6 yr flushed 2 or 3 banana peels down the commode and stopped up the cesspool in our rental. Were those billiard balls down the chute?

we used to roll marbles down our storm drains.. it drove me dad nuts but we had great fun, kept us amused for hours! and could easy get all the marbles back out just by running the hosepipe down. then go get em back from the street, that's if they didn't roll out on there own power.. lol

Is it a code requirement in this area to send roof/gutter water to the street? Custom I've seen in the eastern US is to connect the downspouts to an outlet at ground level and let the roof water go into the lawn. Local exceptions exist, such as in Milwaukee, downspouts are connected directly to the sanitary sewer (the city's sewer is old and has no street/sanitary separation; it's all one) on older construction (my house dated from 1924).

When you were showing the pipes, it almost looked like the pipes had just been laid against each other rather than being fastened together with proper connections and glue. // I was wondering - is the time/date correct on your camera? This video says it was put on 10 days ago which would be December 29, but the camera says 2023/11/09 (I believe). Does that mean it takes you over 1 month to get to editing your videos?
