This is with respect to statue In Pari Delicto Defense under Missouri Law, in pari delicto denfense provides that a person can not maintain an action "if," in order to establish his cause of action, he must rely, in whole or in part, on an illegal or immoral act or transaction to which he is a party. The DOR is no good they pick what you can and can’t do most are put in minimum wage jobs, or join the US Navy’s or go to a community college Most people I know are making low wages who went through the DOR.My needs were not met I had to go to the public sector to get a high wage career. They say no to my goals the counselors weren’t helpful. They were racist, they told me to go to a Spanish speaking family counselor, because of my last name is Martinez I don’t trust them. I doing better with out them

Don't rule out the Department of Rehabilitation, they have resources that can be helpful. People who get the most from them are skilled self-advocates. You can always ask to speak to an alternate DOR staff member if needed.

We are sorry that your experience with the DOR in your area hasn't been satisfactory. Have you tried asking to speak with a supervisor about your issues? You could also contact their state office in Sacramento for help.
