We also talk about the pressure of being a professional athlete. What actually goes into being a pro-kiter? It’s not only the riding, mental and physical training but also the business side of managing sponsors, projects, and coming up with content all the time. It’s a lot and all very time consuming things. With kitesurfing not being the biggest sport you have to be on top of it and creative enough to make it work. But hey, we do… and we love what we do so we keep following our hearts and passion.
Sharks pop up in this conversation and it’s definitely something that crosses our minds during some sessions out in Cape Town. Was it a sunfish or is it a shark?
