If porsche really wants to beat every one in the game,they should use battery cells with over 450 wh/kg energy density,and they should manage to have a battery pack with atleast 400wh/kg in structural pack level energy density,CATL will massproduce it's automotive version semi solid state condensed battery early summer this year with over 450 wh/kg in cell energy density, with zero degradation technology which CATL have just revealed,which uses pre lithiation process of the cells so the battery pack will retain it's total capacity after first 1000 cycle and 95 percent after 2000 cycle life,which will led to a battery pack with 105 kwh capacity and that high level of energy density, with an ev that weighs 1800 kg din it will have real world range of 550 miles or 900 km on a single charge,which means all new 2027 taycan with this new gen battery and zero degradation tech,will still have it's full range as the day one after first 1000 cycle or 550,000 miles or 900,000 km,also retain 95 percent of the capacity after 2000 cycle or 1.8 million km,and finally evs wont loose their value at all even better than internal combustion engine cars in holding their value,very beautiful future for evs i imagine,especially with this new zero degradation technology by CATL ,2025 porsche taycan turbo gt weighs 2290 kg din which is 5 kg weight reduction compared with 2023 turbo s and considering that much more power and range and battery size is amazing but if they manage to have CATL semi solid state structural battery in their taycan line up they will have 400 kg weight saving from the battery pack and they can reduce the weight of e drive units with another 80 kg from drivetrain,if they do 2027 taycan turbo gt will weigh 1800 kg din and a lot more range and performance i hope they will do what they should do to be the best.

@@2r380 This is a useless statement, because we could say that without Lotus there would be no Tesla, but it doesn’t mean they would have existed otherwise. Or that electric powered cars wouldn’t have existed if Toyota would have not do a Prius, etc. Tesla has for them that they coincidentally launch electric cars in the US, but it’s still only okay cars.

I find that the problem with cars that have an electric powertrain is that you would need to drive the Taycan to feel the work that Porsche have put into making it handle the way it does. With a petrol car, you can watch from the sidelines & hear the sound. With the Taycan, you have to get a bit more involved to appreciate it. Even Chris Harris used the word "Exciting" in the Top Gear coverage of the Taycan

@@MadMagyar13 yes well they have to ??? their reputation is at stake? sure you can argue they dont gaf of the companys reputation because theyre swimming in money but it takes acouple large creators now to say a couple words about a company and itll come crashing and also pretty much every car comes with a fairly lengthy warranty and even like combustion cars theyll have waste issues but im sure you know that theres a reason why electric cars are becoming more common like the eu wont be passing laws for a combustion car manufacturing ban in 2035 if electric cars were going to cause a higher wastage now would they?
