Thanks bud, yea we get a 4 day weekend here in the UK (do you in the USA?) so we have had a ton of time in the fish room thanks to the break, a little 2 much Chocolate but we have got a lot of the tasks done we never normally find the time to finish on an average weekend so all good :)

Actually, the USA offers no official holidays for Easter, though many kids have Spring Break and lots of folks unofficially take off for Good Friday. @@Aquadiction

Dude I just saw this, dont send us all your money!!!! Actually, please do send us all your money (JK)! Hows your easter going? Are easter eggs a big thing over in the USA? We are changing the name here to "gesture eggs" because "easter" eggs is offensive to some here! I think its all a bit crazy and personally think everyone should just get a fish tank and put all their effort into that rather than getting offended from the little things that don't impact day to day survival but that's just me! Fishkeeping should unite the world!

100% more like Pentazona (we need to-do a species spotlight on Pentazona, we have had them for a couple years now in the fish room, and on and off for 20 years really), Pentazona barbs are nothing like a tiger barb in personality and I'd argue more colourful and just an all round nicer/better fish in general to keep in the hobby, the checkered are about the same in size (a bit smaller maybe) and disposition as Pentazona barbs!! Watch out for hexazona barbs in terms of they look very similar to Pentazona barbs, they have the same personality of the Pentazona though! Hexazona barbs and Pentazona barbs are very often sold as Pentazona barbs (both equally awesome and the same disposition). Wow i've confused myself a little here haha, but yea Pentazona/Hexazona/Checkered the same from a personality and compatibility standpoint, dont know if that helps any but thank you for the comment :)

@Aquadiction actually when I get my new condo in Houston I'll have a tank or 2. I've got a lot of time to think about what I'll do, but one thought was a 175g tank with nano fish, lol, but that's probably a silly idea. Yeah I'll certainly be around and watching yall for sure. It will give me sooooo many ideas and keep me connected to the hobby at least virtually, right?

We have just refurbished/planted one of our big 450's and are looking to stock different rare types of pencilfish, hopefully that goes well, def have some videos out on them and the complete fish room makeover shortly, filming each tank week by week and will compile into a big video of everything that went wrong and right during the time period, its interesting to see the plant growth over the period of time with a dirtied bottom and 12w cheap ebay light :)
