They did. Eagles got a couple of steals and some very promising talent in the draft last year. Their issues during the season seemed to lie more with the coaching/coordinators and losing DB talent in free agency. That doesn't diminish from the impressive draft they had

I hear you. But instead trying to predict outcomes, I think commentators are slowly learning to judge teams processes. Last year, the Eagles lost 2 important coaches, probably more if you could a couple of reputable assistants. They fell apart because they didn’t adequately replace them. This year they have much more accomplished, veteran coaches. Anyone can see that the Cowboys are a mess right now. Ownership doesn’t like their QB. They just lost 2 stud OLmen. They had to bring back Zeke as their starting rb. CD Lamb, Micah & Dake are free agents next year. None of them are happy. So if you just evaluate the teams on process, predicting the Eagles to win the division is an easy observation.

Well again I don't think anybody expected James Bradberry to have the colossal fall off he did and how bad the LB play would be. The Eagles addressed the D-line last draft, and now they addressed the secondary and most importantly have an actual DC with experience.

You also have to realize the Eagles lost both coordinators last year, and the replacements were pretty awful. Their roster still has a lot of talent, so it depends on how the coaches use them.

I get the narrative ur trying to paint but it’s misleading. Did we underperform? Yes. But with how historically bad the coordinators were last year and we still started 10-1 finished 11-6 made a defensive coordinator switch 11 weeks in and still accomplished what we did. Now if it happens this year then it’s prolly a major problem in the locker room but let’s be honest any other team in qb in the league with the coordinators we had wouldn’t of won 8 games last year with having the hardest schedule in the league(by far) so if ur gonna say tht be truthful
