Our website has an extensive chart of recommended motors for each kit, including the Level 2 rocket. The link is in the description above. Pick the motor you feel will give you the altitude that you want to achieve. In the chart, all the motors will work. So it is just a matter of finding one that gives you the altitude you are comfortable with for your launch site. The adapters are also linked on the webpage.

You need some big goals. We've been seeing a lot of retired people (both men and women) going for their Level-2 certifications. If they can do it, so can you. We're here to help.

@@apogeerockets I've been out of the game since the 80's, but I love all things that fly. I used to build peanut scale models, too, so the glider rockets are quite interesting to me. Getting back into rocketry might be a solid option if the golf courses continue to be so crowded! Love your content. Thanks.

Many years ago (20+) I happened to be driving down a street and saw some guys getting ready to launch some high power. At the time, I did not even know high power was a thing. I was stunned at the size of the rockets. But this one guy had something about 1/2 this size on a high impulse engine. Now, I am an engineer, and I do know things like acceleration, thrust and impulse, but had no concept of HPR. This guy counted down, pressed the button, "wHOOMP!!!!" and it was gone. No idea if he ever found it. 7 weeks from retirement, I have my level one kit in the garage, plus six other kits (smaller). It's on the bucket list.
