I know right ? Mold is like a fungus; if there's some growing mold on a food, it means the entirety of it has been infected too. Cutting the moldy area won't do anything 😱

Same with bread. If you get the loaves in plastic wrap and you notice that there's mold (usually on the bottom) then you're better off just throwing away the whole loaf.

I will never drink enough soda in my lifetime to collect enough lids to make that hamper. On the other hand, I have always cut my tubes of moisturizer and cleansers open to get at what is left inside. It's ridiculous how much is still in there most of the time...not one or two more uses, but enough to last another few weeks!!

I don't know exactly how well salt will preserve in an aqueous/watery solution with cheese... But back then people used to salt meats in order to preserve them longer. It does indeed ward off most bacteria for a longer time. It eventually will mold for bacteria who like salty conditions but it takes longer than most common bacteria Aqueous solution of salt in water just sounds bleh and well fake. XD

The bay leaves do help with insects, but if you put it in a rubber-lidded jug rather than keeping it in the bag anyway, that alone should keep insects out giving you remember to close it!

(I do wonder however if crushing the pressurized spray can is safe, since the seal around the top could potentially break, causing the can to explode in your face? Also I've never found plastic mesh produce bags to have any dish scrubbing texture that works at all.)

The mold you can actually see doesn't become visible until after the mold is throughout the entire piece and comes to the surface to fruit. DO NOT EAT ANYTHING WITH MOLD ON IT ANYWHERE. Cutting it off does NOT make it safe.

I mean,you can't get sick or something when you ate cheese and had mold on it then you just cut it off,it doesn't affect your health,it does affect the texture and flavour of the cheese tho,just cut off 1-2 inches below the moldy spot and everything will be normal,except for the flavour of the cheese tho,it'll be different

4:05 DO NOT EAT THE CHEESE EVEN WHEN YOU CUT THE MOLD OFF! Even if you were go cut the "moldy piece" off, the mold will have grown and already spread inside the cheese.
