Eric way to go! Way to make a quick decision and go after him. Way to really start to control your heart rate before you crested that ridge. Way to visualize the shot before you got setup. Way to take your time while it felt like an eternity AND Way to go not panicking after your first shot. You did FANTASTIC! Congratulations on the success, and from experience, just enjoy being called the bull slayer, trophy taker, lucky SOB....it was NOT just luck. You've put the time in and im sure those close to you will say that you of all guys, DESERVE IT!

Awesome! They actually get bigger in Utah. Both my uncles have shot 400” bulls in Utah. Crazy dude, opening day. I didn’t draw out this year so seeing this makes me more confident.

Beautiful Elk Eric, a trophy to be proud of and it is impressive to see your good friends who were willing to help pack out that brute. Did you have your gun sighted in for 300 yards or more to connect at 500 yards.

yea hes the man, horrible miss, blow off his leg, and got it dialed in on the third shot. he doesnt know his rifle very well to be that far low on the first shot. but this is nothing new for the Hush crew, they have made some horrible shots over the years. shooting is not their strong point
