I don’t think they realize Poseidon’s Princess “held the door” by her body being used to jam up the mechanism. Thought they would be more freaked out by it realizing that Kratos truly didn’t give a damn about anyone

Kratos actually killed the nude princess by using her body to jam the wheel controlling the door. It's meant to show how horrifically terrible he's become The voice actor for Kratos is still the same one actually. You might have confused it because he learned into the anger and fury a little harder this time and there isn't quite as much calm talking seanes this time around. Since he's more rage filled than ever

I think you girls just over reacted the fact of the "hypersexualitation" on certain female characters, human body was an object of study and appreciation for greek culture. Also, me as a man I consider some comments were like "yeah, men like boobs because they are dumbs and savages". When I played this game back then, yeah I got amazed because of it but thats it... You are generalized us all, specially the blonde one.

It’s the same voice actor. The only time kratos’ voice actor change was in 2018. Also, Hades voiced by Clancy Brown (AKA Mr Krabs)

guys this is the original voice actor from all the games prior to god of war remake. remember the first one came out in 2005 lol thats why the voice is different its the quality of audio difference

The lion/goat/snake creature was a chimera. The Poseidon Princess wasn’t saved; instead, she was used as a door stop by getting crushed in the wheel. Hercules was only helping Hera since the situation was “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.”

No.Apollo literally exists in the god of war universe. He is literally mentioned in ascensions with their even being a statue of him and kratos uses his bow in this game. Kratos also has some of apollos magic which was gifted to him by Apollo when he became god of war. Kratos doesn’t use this power in the game but he uses this power in the comic book series which takes place right after kratos becomes god of war. He uses this power given to him by Apollo to summon the heat of the sun through his hands to vaporize an island sized monster. People keep forgetting that theirs a lot of Greek gods that kratos left alive like eos aka Helios sister, apollo, Artemis, Morpheus, Demeter etc who are all gods that appeared or were mentioned in the series including novels but weren’t present when kratos attacked Olympus.

I worked for the studio that made Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta for the PSP. There were one or two technological miracles produced on those projects that made it possible to release a game technologically on par with the PS2 instead of the original mission, which was to release a throwaway 2D sidescroller. I don’t know how much one vote can count, but I would love you forever if you integrated these games in your playthrough. I do think Ghost of Sparta might be the most lore dense story of this entire arc.

@@iReiGNxx Nope. The others had one as well. The first game was on the ship at the very beginning. The second was sometime before he gets killed and sent to Hades. They always gave exp orbs, but you immediately lose them in the river styx in 2. You get to keep them in 1.

Freya had a monumental rack but it was covered. lol Some people preferred the brutality and sexualization of the original games but a lot of us like that the series and Kratos have matured. Corey Barlog, the director of 2018 GoW has said Kratos is essentially holding back the entire game because he doesn't want to be the man he used to be.

Given this is part one, I assume you've already watched both parts and finished GoW 3. With that in mind, I highly recommend rewatching the scene in GoW 2018 where Kratos is taking a boat ride back to his house to get the blades of chaos. That conversation with Athena hits much differently after watching GoW 3.

The thing is, Kratos *did* care about mankind. Well, he cared about Sparta. He cared about his wife and daughter. Unfortunately, the gods took all of that away from him. Ares had him kill his family, Zeus went and destroyed Sparta as soon as Kratos was out of the picture in the previous game (it got undone by time travel, but Zeus will still do that the first chance he gets). Everything Kratos loved, his family, his people, taken away by the gods and their games. Every time he thought they were on his side, even when he was literally their slave, they went out of their way to screw him over even further. So this is the game where he goes "F it, burn it all down."

The voice actor is the same until GOW 2018. You might just be hearing his voice in slightly better quality.

The voice actor for Kratos is the same in all the old games, he's only diffrent in God of war (2018) since Christopher Judge became the older and wiser Kratos. Terrence C. Carson voices Kratos when he's in the Greek Saga.

Yeah, keep in mind that in the God of War games before the newest two, people Kratos helped tended to end up dying in worse ways than they would have if he never helped them at all.

You need to watch the Uncharted series after God of War, it is very cinematic and it was created by the same people that made The Last of Us.

Actually we didn't care about the nudity that much at the time, the story was so engaging and it was such a fun game we couldn't care much about jiggles

according to the actual mythology, Hades is actually the most chill of the 3 Brothers: Zeus, Poseidon & Hades. Edit: Kristen & I Hittin that PULL THE LEVER KRONK. at the exact same time is my favorite part of the video

They didn't change the voice actor. It's still the same voice actor, T.C. Carson, as it was in the previous God Of War games. Kratos's voice actor didn't change until God Of War 2018, when Christopher Judge took the role.

Funny fact. The actor who voiced Hercules in the game, (Kevin Sorbo) actually played Hercules for a tv show that I believe ended prior to this game being released. For you to know, look up "Hercules the legendary journeys"

Fun fact: the actor voicing Hercules is Kevin Sorbo who was in Hercules movies, Xena, 300. He also has a voice pack for a special skin of God Hercules in the game Smite

The "damsel" was poseidon's mistress and she was right when she said she couldn't hold the gear up but she managed to jam it pretty well. The art design can be summed up as van art, I term I hadn't heard when these games were new but that is definitely the type of high fantasy old GOW was going for.
