How BLACK ADAM Should Have Ended REACTION! | HISHE

Joining the DCEU Family with Superman, Batman, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Flash and Shazam, Black Adam busts onto the scene, bringing with him Cyclone, Dr Fate and Atom Smasher. The movie definitely had ALOT of plot holes and HISHE gives their take on alternate endings that (maybe) would have worked better!
Coming next year, we can look forward to Shazam! Fury of the Gods (Zachary Levi & Asher Angel as Billy Batson), The Flash (Ezra Miller, Michael Keaton as Batman, Sasha Calle as Supergirl), Blue Beetle (Xolo Maridueñao as Jaime Reyes) and of course Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom (Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta and directed by James Wan).

Absolutely. That may be the best single batman scene since the one In Dark Knight where Bruce Wayne saved Jim Gordon’s life by crashing his Lambo into the bad guys car- before he could take out Gordon - and then when Gordon came up to thank him - he pretended he was just drunk. (To protect his identity). Now…that’s *Batman.*

The DC character they're trying to remember is The Atom. The golden age Atom (Al Pratt) is the one played by Henry Winkler in the movie, but he couldn't shrink. The silver age Atom (Ray Palmer) is the first Atom to have shrinking powers. The third Atom is Ryan Choi, and he also shrinks, as did the son of senator Cray who briefly impersonated the Ray Palmer Atom in a story arc in John Ostrander's Suicide Squad run.

I enjoyed Black Adam. I felt that it knew what it was trying to be, and it leaned into it. Was it a cinematic masterpiece, no. Was it a fun ride/popcorn flick? Hell yeah 😁

I say it was more so Fate stealing HISHE Wong's catchphrase. HISHE started the joke/bit of Wong saying "yes, Wong!" any time he does something impressive or easily solves a problem the heroes could not.

Funny story for the second time I went to go see Black Adam it was for my half brother’s birthday, but I went right after I got home from work so for the final battle I knocked out and it was until he leaned to me to ask how much time is left so he can go to the bathroom and he didn’t realize he woke me up 😂

So, in DC golden age, there was the Original Atom, Al Pratt, who was just small and short with a very strong punch. That is the uncle to Atom Smasher (AKA Nuklon), Al Rothstein. Then in the October 1961 silver age DC created Ray Palmer, the Atom who could shrink, but not grow. This was only 3 months before Ant-Man was introduced, though not initially as a super hero

Okay: in the Golden Age (1940s), DC had a hero named the Atom. He _didn't_ have size changing abilities; he was just a really strong midget. Decades later, Marvel introduced the original Ant-Man, and DC created a new version of Atom who was unrelated to the original one. _This_ Atom could shrink. Later, they brought the original Atom back and gave him a godson. That godson could grow and shrink, and originally called himself Nuklon. Decades later, in 2000, he changed his codename to Atom Smasher. Shortly after that, the _second_ Atom (the size-changing one) was replaced by a younger guy with the same powers, who _also_ called himself the Atom. Clear as mud?

@@seyio1717 Wow, you're very passionate about this. Me too! Um, I am not a Zach Snyder fanboy. I'm not even really a BvS fanboy. But I am a huge fan of this scene, and here's why: Let's take BvS and put it over there for a second. Canonically, Bruce Wayne is obsessively motivated by his mother's death, and despite being a small child at the time he holds himself responsible for not doing anything to stop it. Honestly, dude's a lunatic. But that's the very reason Batman exists, because he conflates the idea of actively stopping killers with the fantasy that he should have actively stopped Joe Chill. And you're going to make fun of me because I had to explain all this, but this is a beloved and celebrated Batman arc in the comics, and it's the reason everybody loves TAS, because they handled it so well. Better than BvS, arguably and by a long shot. So let's grab BvS and bring it back over here. The line everybody hates is, "You're letting him kill Martha," and suddenly the king of PTSD is back in that alleyway, Bruce is cold and wet and afraid and, in his own twisted mind, "letting him kill Martha." Except this time, he's Joe Chill, gun in hand with the pearls wrapped around. He's the thing that Batman hates more than anything in the world. And it's not like it came out of nowhere, the whole movie we've been seeing evidence that he's this old, jaded, grumpy Batman whose already held Dick Grayson's lifeless body in his arms--thanks, Joker--and Alfred has been telling him he's become cruel. And it never even occurred to him that this alien could be somebody's son or boyfriend or employee or any of that. So his first reflex is even more aggressive: "Why did you say that name??" (Another line everybody hates.) But when all that finally gets through his head, you can FRIGGIN SEE the rage dissipating as his mind clears, and he's able to examine himself and point himself back in the right direction, maybe for the first time in years. So if you think that's dumb, then cool, that's up to you; but it's about as "Batman" as it could possibly be. I think the problem is that this is just not a great movie. It's too long, there are too many subplots, it set up too many future things, it was a mess. But the "Martha" scene sent shivers up my spine, because I saw Bruce Wayne feel the way he feels in the comics.

HISHE are amazing. The thing about the actual movie that bothered me, was Ishmael didn't even put the crown on his head, he was killed just holding it. On top of that, it disintegrated once he became Sabbac, which is silly, because the material it's made from is super rare and affects Black Adam, so why not wear it, or integrate it into his body somehow, so that he can hurt Black Adam. Also, why would you put all of your eggs in one basket, then destroy the very thing which created it? Why not let the crown survive, so that if this champion fails, they can try again? Also, when Ishmael transforms into Sabbac, shouldn't he have been on Hawkman's jet? He had an opportunity, right there and then to do some real damage before leaving for the Palace. Also, as great as Quintessa is, her character was pretty useless, she didn't do much.

Black Adam was a decent film, not amazing, but was still fun. The running gag of catchphrase was alright, but Hawkman and Atom Smasher made me laugh. Hawkman: "You and me, when we get back to the ship." Atom Smasher: "Roger That!"

No the "no kill rule" isn't SPECIFIC to Batman, all superheroes follow it to some degree, it isn't that "superheroes CAN'T kill", but the way in which Zaxk Snyder showing them kill is so brutal and unnecessary than MOST people had a problem with Zack Snyder's depiction of Batman's over the top brutality thinking it was "mature" and superman's brooding emo depress phase that he thought was "edgy". He's just so far up his ass that he COMPLETELY changed and modernized the heroes as to be NEUTRALLY CHAOTIC, he literally said, "you can think, oh my hero doesn't lie to the people, he doesn't embezzle money from the US government, he's always good, yeah, grow up kid, you're in the real world", THAT'S THE POINT OF HEROES!!!!! TO BE OUR BEST VERSIONS!!! Zack Snyder should leave character development to people who ACTUALLY know about the character, not just read ONE writers comics of Batman and says "look he killed, I'm justified"

The Batman stuff was great, 'Black Shazam' but the rest was crap, just cause it happens in the comics doesnt mean it happens in the movies, if it did Vision from MCU would actually be a bad ass and properly fight Thanos. There is also the ending, the Dude with the crowns needs someone to murder him before he becomes Sabacc, thats why his elaborate plan. I suppose he could pay someone to do it...🤣

I mean, black Adam isn't good storywise, but it's a fun, enjoyable action-superhero movie where Dwain the rock fucking Johnson kicks butt. Thor love and thunder, on the other hand, is just atrocious on every level. It's on par with Thor the dark world.

The failure of Black Adam was ultimately the script. Too many 'been there, seen that' tropes. I liked it, but didn't love it. It didn't leave me wanting to see it again at theaters. Should have been Superman vs Black Adam from the get-go. Hawkman stole the show, in my humble opinion. Get rid of tired old tropes, ie, kid sidekicks, citizens rising up to fight the foe. (That's what superheroes are for!)

Jaby u do u, people are always quick to judge, especially behind their computer screens, people see things as black and white, u do like a lot of things but u also hate a lot of things and thats cool..If we all liked the same stuff it would b a boring ass world..I dont have a channel but i often disagree with the popular opinion and i dont care..Its art, its subjective..I thought Black Adam had a lot of problems but overall i really enjoyed it, it was just fun, i saw twice in theatres, the only comic book movie i saw in theatres twice this year, i dont care!

My take-away from this video, What makes Jaby laugh out loud doesn't really affect Achara and what makes Achara laugh out loud does not affect Jaby

The DC universe went downhill when Batman Batman beat Superman. That shouldn't even have been possible but Batman is the strongest fattest character they have there is no need for Black Adams none of them because Batman apparently can beat everybody in the DC universe.
