I have a hard time believing this woman was ever a caring mother. Grief can absolutely cause change, but her behavior seems extreme. She's toxic as hell and clearly resents her daughters. ETA I think the dad helped keep mom in check, and now he's no longer around to protect his daughters.

After seeing this in it's entirety.... I see a lot more. She was jealous of the girl's relationship. Knowing her husband was dying and in need of oxygen... She got her 💅🏽 done. Hearing him gasp for air and she failed to put on the mask... This is displaced anger guilt and frustration. Mom needed help looong before now. They need family counseling 😢😢😢😢😢😢

Those 4 sisters are so respectful to their mum inspite of the way she treats them. It speaks volumes of the kind of man their Father was because I don't think they learnt that from their mum who seems to have big, big issues she's never sorted out! @@Gaetania Because they love their mom regardless. They want to mend the broken relationship between them. Not everyone gives up hope on their parents when they do wrong. I personally have been through a lot, things similar to what their mom has done to them and I still love my mom to death. There's nothing I wouldn't do for her cause at the end of the day she's my family. We get along now, better than we ever have. It took time but it was worth it in the very end.

MENTAL HEALTH issues are real…mixed with grief it becomes even more toxic. I hurt for this family, even more so for the girls. Living with a person who has mental health concerns and feels like they are not the issue is not for the weak hearted. “That’s just who she is..” is not the resolve. The father was the protector and the lover of these girls who kept them bonded knowing the behavior of his wife. I hope the mother truly gets help and the daughters get therapy to know that their mother’s behavior is not the norm and that they or their children are not the issue. ❤

I think the mother is a narcissist. She dismisses their feelings and only is worried about herself. She lashes out when they try to express themselves especially when it's pain caused by her. She also finds joy in their pain in which narcissists tend to do. She may be grieving the loss of her husband, but her evil ways existed before his death I'm sure!

My biological mother was like this. Kind one minute, crying the next and then mean and hateful to the core later. She was bipolar with psychosis. I had to accept that and move on. It still hurts every now and then. But I tried to respect her from afar. I loved that she brought me into the world but she was just my vessel. My paternal grandmother was my Mother/Mom. And I had my dad who was disabled. She died 5 years ago now...and sometimes I still have days where I questioned why she didn't want me. But I never question God. He put me on the path with my grandma/mom and paternal family.

He told them he was dying. He had oxygen for a reason. However, putting oxygen on someone experiencing respiratory distress, possibly cardiac arrest would not save their life. Mom needs help but doesn’t appear to want it. They need to maintain boundaries with her and it may require distancing themselves from her. No one deserves to be treated the way she’s treating them.

Truth is it was nobody’s fault. He had the death rattle which is why he breathing the way he was. His body was shutting down! Also the blame game is simply grief. Often when people grieve we sometimes look for someone to blame. It’s easier to blame someone than accept it for what it is

She has too much anger. I would advise each of the daughters to let it be and let her suffer and grief alone. Dont call her or even visit….. she has to value what she has to understand & acknowledge that she was wrong.

The mother needs therapy and JESUS! When my father died, my mother would do everything in her power to try and get us to hate him because he was a womanizer. She wanted us to feel guilty for Grieving. She didn’t even realize that she was pushing us away, and we didn’t want to be around her for years because of that. Eventually she started getting therapy and being truthful. It’s now healing the relationship

Their mom is in soooo much pain....this pain is mixed with guilt, regret and anger. It is truly sad when you experience death of your spouse and a father....this family only lost their dad 2months ago so they have a long way to go before any healing starts. Time will heal their relationship because you can see the love still flows between her and her daughters...I pray for her and her daughters to continue finding strength and for God to give them courage to overcome all these negative and toxic energies...may the unconditional love they all have for their dad live on forever 🙏

She is a jealous mother, she was jealous of the loving father and daughter relationship the girls had with their father. It’s honestly so sad that some mothers are jealous and so bitter. I thank god that my mum wasn’t like this when my dad passed ❤️
