Geto, Gojo's former best friend is dead, like, completely dead, Kenjaku is a sorcerer from the Heian era "approximately a 1000 years prior the current events of jjk" whose innate CT makes him to swap brains with other bodies allowing him to effectively take control of other bodies hopping from one to the other. Geto's corpse just so happened to be one of the bodies he eventually took control of, but people shouldn't think of Kenjaku as Geto, they are two completely different people.

Saying Gojo should have done a better job disposing of his body isn’t really fair to either Gojo or Geto tbh. They were best friends and Geto’s beliefs were just different than Gojo’s. At the end of the day Gojo had to kill his best friend. He made it quick and as painless as possible out of respect for his friend, I’m sure he would have wanted to give him as proper and respectful of a burial/disposal as he could. And I highly doubt Gojo was anticipating a random curse to take control of Geto’s body well after he was dead.

As we seen with that one guy who brought Toji’s body back from the dead, Toji took control of his body again. Like say early on thay jjk sorcerers are different from other people because of curse energy AND their memories are attached to said curse energy...that way though Geto is dead and gone, we can say his memory is rejecting Kenjaku plus it makes sense since Kenjaku has Geto's memories. How can a brain take over another body and have the MEMORIES of said body? Unless Kenjaku isnt the brain and he just possesses Geto's brain as well. If you’re confused about why Geto (Kenjaku) try to strangle themselves during Shibuya. it was a bodily response that a foreign object is controlling their body, so it was mostly out of the body’s instinct to get rid of it. just like when you get a virus or unknown bacteria that entered your body, the response of your body is to attack it and destroy it.

This shows that geto isn't dead completely as his soul remains slightly in his body since he was able to react to gojo speaking to him when making fun of him for having his body stolen. my question is //how and why// did Gojo preserve Geto's body... Satoru didn't handle the body to Shoko it seems and I hardly believe he just disposed of the body in a bag on the trash, Gojo had him somewhere and preserved it with a purpose... The reason Kenjaku has Geto’s body is because Gojo didn’t cremate him (this is a common practice when a sorcerer dies). It isn’t known how long after death Kenjaku took control of Geto, but I presume it would’ve been quite soon. Not only this - but Kenjaku would have had control over Geto’s thousands of curses - he could have had a curse used to heal him.

He can't because of the Six Eyes. It's a strange technique that Kenjaku has faced multiple times down the years, as killing a user causes the power to go to somebody else. Gojo and Toji are two of the characters that Kenjaku can't take over due to their abilities and how they might interact in some strange way with possession. He did consider trying, but it was too risky.

Geto didn't plan for anything Kenjaku is doing. Kenjaku is simply using Geto's corpse to carry out his plans while having access to his memories and cursed technique. Although Geto's body and soul are still "alive" to a degree as he tries to choke out Kenjaku when provoked by Gojo.

Geto is still somewhere inside kenjako When they first meet gojo and kenjako kejako after a conversation says "goodnight gojo satoru let's meet again in the new world" and gojo replies "and it's time for you to wake up. Are you gonna let him use you like that, geto?" And geto strangles himself and kenjako says "that's a first time"

We did, for a brief moment see a glimpse of Geto. When Gojo called out to him being used as a puppet, Geto's body moved on its own. I know it was likely the only time it'll ever happen but, part of me wishes Geto would somehow overshadow Kenjaku and return briefly.
