Hey Mike, I do my own restoration work at home part time, and i personally find here in Australia good reasonably priced paint is like hens teeth. Trying to get the right information on what products to use is also difficult. People don't like to share. Hey Fn Mike ! Now for the 55 you need a 2276 EFI turbo motor with Halteck engine management and add on a super charger with methanol injected cooling with internal injected NUCLEAR NITROUS OXIDE ? then while your at a meet just fix your hood for it don't open and tell everyone it's a STOCK 25 hp.

Several questions.. 1- is this silver metallic under the base ? 2- to verify the sealer goes under the silver metallic yes ? 3- what is the name of the base coat color and paint code ? I love the color on that bug !!! I’m going to build a 1964 impala convertible and would love that color !!! Thanks so much !

I matched this color myself. Color is VW strato silver but most dont match correctly. I just get generic DTM urethane sealer. matched to the color I am painting if I can.

I am not sure it was some toyota white color which is a bit grey. High tech basecoat.

Great channel no Bs product sell pitch trying to restore my first car , I have heavy surface rust can I apply PPG epoxy primer over the fdc rust converter ultra you use in your video ?

yea but best to treat it then remove what you can with a stripping wheel. There will be some remnants
