What I hate about this whole Ouija section is how Chris is apologizing. He had NO PART in the damn prank, and yet he is apologizing. It's just dumb because he was passed out in the kitchen with Josh when all of that went down last year. I mean, what could he have done? The only three innocent people out of this group of friends is Chris, Josh, and Sam. I say Josh because none of his "night of horror" stuff would have been concocted if the prank hadn't happened. Plus, he's being medicated for the wrong mental illnesses all his life. Sam was actively trying to stop the prank, and Chris was passed out. Really irks me that he was apologizing when he wasn't involved.

Im a bit ashamed to be part of Mark's fanbase. Not because of mark, but the people in to. Too many people are complaining about mark "not taking the game too serious" and it's not only annoying to see it on every untill dawn video, but it's a bit dumb because they shouldn't even be here in the first place. After the first video and all its hate comments, wouldn't you think they would go away. Not go to the next video and complain there. Plus, why are we trying to change mark anyways. Personally...this playthrough is just amusing enough to keep watching, but I feel like Mark is doing the exact same thing he did when playing Fatal Frame. He's not letting the game take him where it wants to take him and I don't know why that is. Some of my favorite horror series that he has done are Outlast, Amnesia, and the various Slender games. He was funny in those as well, but his humor grew out of the events at hand. He saw what was happening, experienced it and took it in, and came back out with funny lines and sarcasm. He got loud when it served a joke, but he wasn't always loud. He wasn't always joking. Sometimes he'd get quiet and sometimes he would legitimately freak out. Slender appearing over his shoulder, muttering "little piggy, no no!" in narrow gaps, cowering in fear in a dark corner while an abomination wandered around not five feet away...we experienced that fear *with* Mark. He felt the fear and so did we...and then he would break the tension with some ridiculous taunt or what have you, giving us a laugh after everything. Like in Fatal Frame, though, he's not really experiencing anything here. He's not embracing the setting or the characters and doesn't seem to have tried from the start. Perhaps he's not enjoying the game, which is fine. But if he's not, he shouldn't force himself to play. Yet...if he is enjoying the game, then he's very clearly denying the rest of us the chance to enjoy it too. He's becoming the focus of everything in the video when he should be sharing some of that spotlight with the game itself. In order for a let's play to work, the game and the player both have to be experienced by the audience. We have to experience the laughs, the sentiment, and the fear and we have to feel that Mark is experiencing the same emotions we are...or, some emotions, at any rate. Without that vital connection, it's just a gameplay video, or a comedy reel with a game as a backdrop.

That kind of just makes it really obvious when you know that Josh was manipulating it. He think both Hannah and Beth died when in reality only Beth did. I think it’s really cool that they add that because it shows just how far he was willing to go for it. Idk I just liked how they did that.

I know I'm going to get a lot of hate for this, but I really, REALLY want Mark to just take this game seriously. I don't want him to act all silly about the choices and the dialogue for this game; It makes it less atmospheric. If Mark could just play the game, reduce the amount of jokes he makes and picks choices that HE wants, not what he thinks is funny, this game will be much more enjoyable to watch. This is my opinion, it may not reflect what you feel, but I don't care; I wanted to just get my opinion out.

I really didn't want to be this sort of person, because complaining about this sort of thing is really dumb and pointless, especially when there are lots of other Lets Plays of this to watch. However, I can't help but feel after four episodes or so that Mark is doing himself and this game an injustice. He CLEARLY isn't having fun with this game, at all. That's WHY he's trying to be so funny through the entire video cracking out jokes constantly. He's bored, and he doesn't want his fans to be. That's admirable, because he had very good intentions, and very valid concerns. But I can't help but feel like if he really dislikes the game so much that he's nigh CONSTANTLY trying to be funny, that he should just stop playing it. The fact that he continues on like this feels almost insulting, because to me it says that he's not willing to be honest at all, even for his fans. I'm not saying he's playing the game wrong, he can play it however he likes. It's also portraying the game in a very negative light, when it's got such a cool concept. He constantly behaves certain ways, only to get upset because the game took his actions into account, which is supposed to be the whole point of the thing... I just wish that he'd either take the game seriously, and not have to question why it's reacting to what he's doing, or just not play it at all. And yes, I know there are lots of other playthroughs I could watch of this... But they're not Mark. He's actually generally pretty good at horror games. Better than most other LPers. I wanted to see someone who would do WELL with the game, because they know better than to do stupid dangerous things, like I'd assumed he would. But because he isn't I'm not sure of whether I can find ANY videos of this from people who actually play horror games WELL... I don't even have the choice of getting the game and playing it myself, because I can afford neither the game nor the system to play it... TLDR; More complaints about how Mark is playing. But don't worry, this is the only video you'll see them on.
