I buy premiums and i occasionally like having fun with bombers (flown unconventionally) but i refuse to buy the Ju288. Sure i could have fun with it but i don't want to be part of the disease. Knock it up to 6.0 i thinks.

@@viruspter1dactl I meant disease as it's a spammed out bomber. Too many people don't climb just so they can intercept it. Update though. I started playing ground forces last summer and bought the JU288 during the Xmas sales to add to my German line up. Glad it's at 6.0 now.

@@viruspter1dactl It's not about the defensive armament. It's about the speed and mobility. Before it was moved up in the BR, if you were in a non-grif spit, yaks or any more agile fighters you simply couldn't keep up with it.

Because no one knows how to be aggressive with it like this. Everyone thinks its just a faster D-5 or D-20 Dstang. Same problem with the D-10, D-30 in regards, but the H is an entirely different horse compared to the Ds

The topics aren't the problem it's how I cover them, I want a good method of getting the point across. The rest won't be much of a problem

the problem of the Ju-288 is the tail gunner was on the cockpit thus making it difficult to kill it unlike the lancaster and B17

IJH SA it can. P51H5 is 6.3 and the 262A1 is 7.0. Iirc the F8F is 6.3 as well.

400 in general is better, but I tend to shoot from a decent distance so I like having a bit further of a convergence. Just shoot at the range you feel comfortable at. At slowly add meters over time

Normally i'd say what the plane is bad at, but the plane isn't really bad at anything. It can deal with any prop in the game except for the A2D The guns are weak, but you cant really abuse that in the enemy team

That's very interesting. Thanks Defyn. What I'm saying is that (just as for input into your new format) just a little discussion of how to fight an aircraft in that BR might be useful. Just as an example, if I'm in a Spitfire LF mk. IX - do I have no chance? I don't fly BF 109's but a lot of pilots do. How would they fight it? Just some thoughts to help (I hope!).

I get what youre saying, but if i have to cover every plane to say how to fight it, id end up with 2 hour long videos. I try to give you the weaknesses and you will have to figure how the rest on your own by looking what the strengths of the plane youre flying are.

Fair enough. Just trying to give some input. Certainly saying it's weak at this and weak at that and stall speed is low/high would be a real help, I think.

They do have power, but they don't have the turnrate to do anything with it if you position yourself right. Which is quite easy to do considering you dont go into the dogfight going 300 x)

@@DEFYN well some people follow Fw's in the vertical and when they all of sudden decide to go into a upwards spiral most planes get a lot of trouble keeping up with them.

Not really scissors though. DEFYN is in control the whole time taking a wider roll with his better maneuverability at speed to get behind the opponent for the kill. In a proper scissors I’d expect to pull towards the other guy for a while and then roll and go back to turn the other way. These guys are continously rolling and turning it’s just the mustang is better at it. I think? Anyway I guess we all agree it’s some sort of reversal not unlike a scissors.

A better set of advice would be how to avoid having to defensive fly in it; defensive flying usually means you're already about to die.

This is the best prop in the game next to the mk24 performance wise. The premium P51 doesn't come anywhere close to it to the point they're not even similar planes.

@@DEFYN I had this plane mixed up with the premium mustang. I didn't realize this is the plane from the tech tree...I got the premium mustang they pulled just a month or so ago, but they now have another mustang premium in its place. I'm sure the same can be said for both premiums, as the one I have with the green nose isn't amazing either. (It's good, but it seems to just be a slightly better D variant)

It's quite underated, it's mostly flown by new jet players which makes it seem like it's useless probably

@@DEFYN how, HO is MUCH faster, handles about as well as a prop in a turnfight, has decent acceleration, no longer rips, has better firepower... Kikka has a bit of a thrust advantage but handles like a bus at ANY speed ... at low it just doesnt have the lift at high it totally compresses Ho is in that nasty overpowered bubble of being able to outrun anything it cant outturn and able to outturn anything that can outrun it while often being able to do BOTH at the same time ... Kikka has ONE trick - its thrust, in every other aspect its horrible ... if i could fly HO229 copy in my Jap tree as a jet grinder instead of Kikka i would take it in a heartbeat over jet that cant turn, cant zoom and runs out of ammo in few seconds ... and you want to put it at 7.7 where it would get stomped on by G91s, Mig15s and Swifts xD

This was before 7.7 was seperated, I don't care about a plane getting slammed in an uptier. That's much better than a plane slamming a whole BR because it's undertiered. The kikka is a onetrick yes, but it's virtually impossible to kill for props due to the stupid amounts of thrust and the ability to roll which makes hitting it a chore when it outruns you, and it does that all the time. It's not about which plane is better, it's about 6.0s not seeing this thing. The kikka is extremely overpowered right now, the only drawback is that it's not easy to play

@@DEFYN considering i get NOTHING but uptiers in anything i fly i care very much about the maximum crap that can and WILL be thrown against me ... and dont you think its kinda strange that you "dont consider uptiers" but want to put kikka at 7.7 because 6.0s can get uptiered against it ... pick one man as it is all i see in Kikka are 7.0+ battles mostly getting clubbed by F89Ds as is ... hell when i fly my A2D-1 Kikka is basically a free kill for me while HO229 is a NIGHTMARE ... how i see it the Kikka is problematic for you because you prefer energy and stall fighting which doesnt work against plane that simply has its speed advantage ignoring the fact there are MUCH better planes in that BR spread that will dunk on props HARDER than Kikka ever will - Ho229 and Vampire will run circles around poor Kikka any day, which is why they are at 7.3 ... put Kikka at 7.0 and it faces Banshees, Yak23, LA200, Meteor MK8 or J/A 29B ... put it at 7.3 and it can get shot down by Vietnam Era missiles ... xD PS: dont know if you mean the hard separation that should be between 9.7s and 10.0s and if that same is the case for 7.7 (never heard of that one) BUT as of last patch the 9.7 barrier doesnt work and 9.3 jets do see 10.0-10.3 supersonics again ...
