Getting awesome sounds from the BOSS Metal Zone and OD-1X.

2 жыл бұрынHi, so I decided to do a video on the classic Metal Zone pedal from boss as sometimes this pedal gets a bad reputation, I think the term bees buzzing was used once.
So I wanted to show how I can get really cool sounds from this pedal, I threw in the OD-1X as a reference pedal as it's amazing anyway.

I remember you came up to my amp about 25 years ago in the middle of playing and turned me up. Changed everything. Thanks for that.

Great demo. I love the OD-1x. Very underrated pedal IMO. It really shines when overdriving a loud amp. At home, or into a clean amp it can sound harsh/sterile. The clarity and tightness is amazing when pushing a cranked amp. I love it.

I dig the OD-1X too, the OD-3 is the Jazz pedal for me, while the OD-1X is lighter with more grit and NICE bass unlike so many overdrives...NOT too diggy sounding at all!😎

Yes, The OD1X is super underrated. Metal zone is classic and misunderstood

So sometimes I run a compressor with the level cranked all the way up into a metalzone and just run the metal zone into the effects return. It sounds like a better hm2.

the mighty Boss OD-1X EQs your evry note, and at low settings of them knobbies it does that and dont sound digi! I thought it was too expensive for use at low gain, but im glad to have one...
