Time to get back into the swing of things. Christmas break is over and we’re ready to get on.
Enormous amount of things to achieve this year, but first we need to finish the poly tunnel.

In the us we have a burn pit, and it keeps everybody warm. It’s and outside fire with wood in a small enclosure.can order one with legs. Or make one out of stones stacked up.

That's a beautiful poly tunnel. Love it! It looks very solid and will never become space junk like my Amazon greenhouse did. There was a story in the news a few weeks back about a farmer in N.S. had a large commercial type poly tunnel wrecked by wind, but it did not make into orbit. He was growing cold tolerant leafy greens and veg. Crazy climate change eh? Sorry I'm 🇨🇦. 😊👍

You might consider creating a Roman shade flap and using it to create windows along the outside. Use Velcro’s tape to keep them closed. I’d also suggest a door on both ends and the fan.

Hello Nelson 😊 We have a door at one end and a window at the other! We are contemplating a fan, maybe with solar panels… also doing a mister on a timer! It going to be awesome to at last be able to grow my seeds . Thank you for watching and tips 👌

You are lucky its not 1mm. you can use 1.5mm for low power circuit, when I did our house east europe, lights and socket on the same circuit, all 16A. and alu cable, 3ph service. take care you two.

Love the polytunnel - well done both🎉 Get the window and door on asap or strong winds can get inside and lift it and destroy your hard work. Shade cloth in the summer will help

Great job. I would love to have a big polytunnel like that. In your climate, you can probably grow vegetables year round. If you plant stuff in the ground, rather than in raised beds or planters, you'll need to water the plants less.

Well done, James, stools look very solid. 🍰Very many happies! 🍰 Your greenhouse reminds me of the ones at the nursery in my road, where we had our house. They were made of glass and steel and each had a wood/coal burning stove. The aroma of moss and ferns and other plants was lovely. Your greenhouse is enormous and i can see you both happily nurturing organic veg there year round. 🥙🥗🧄🍠🧅🍓🥬🥦🥕🍅

There's this stuff called Hot Spot Tape, slide it in between the metal tube and the plastic, it prolongs the life of the plastic.

The way I did my greenhouse plastic was by digging a ditch either side about 2 foot wide and deep, put the plastic lining the ditch and filling in the ditch from the outside inwards, as you move in towards the walls the plastic gets tighter and tighter, having said that mine is 6 meters wide and works great, O got some round clips that clip onto the pipe and the round posts to do the ends, been up 8 years now and will soon need changing, not looking forward to that at my age, 66

The 26th of January in Iowa, U.S.A. 3 feet of snow and 33°F, we consider that a Warm up. Considering a week ago it was -14°F. I love your hothouse, here 1 snow, and that whole structure would be flat on the ground. He is right without his Beautiful wife, he'd probably would be nothing, I like how Jimmy makes his wife laugh

Hi, we had to re home them 😞 My dogs never got to get on with the kittens. They went to loving homes 😀 2 girls went to the same home, one boy went to another and the last boy and girl also went to one home. Now and then, the new families send us pictures which is really nice ! Thank you for watching 😀

Well heat rises so why put it up so high? and maybe you can paint over that black pipe, not so pretty, it would be nicer if it hung down like heat lamps, like you do with new chick's, or like lamps over your seating
