Getting Better Sound Quality in my Workshop

Күн бұрынIf you have a workshop or a large garage, then there is a good chance you have bad sound quality. And so do I. I have lived with this for long enough and I'm trying a number of simple sound absorbing tricks to reduce that echo. I hope you can get a few ideas for your workshop from this test.

Love your outside the box problem solving creativity. That it also includes “gotcha” things like washers, brackets, and knots just illustrates you really think things though at a different level. I’m kinda shocked that there wasn’t any pvc pipe involved for hanging. ☺ If you aren’t an online shopping junkie, have your friends and family save their boxes. I also have my local appliance store save me their big boxes from fridges and washers. Upcycle! Coroplast, the plastic cardboard looking stuff, is really strong and light. Pretty inexpensive, too. Thanks for the great content!!

Pretty neat, I remember the first set done in one of the previous videos. However I could tell a significant difference from before & After.

Couldn't you just walk paint the pink foam board, and use that as a sound damper? Or am I crazy? Lol just a thought. And I'm curious, now that I thought about it. Anyhow thanks for another great video! Take it easy my friend! 😊

Will these work if your trying to drown out noise from other rooms to be silent in your bedroom? I go to bed early and my husband stays up all hours of the night waking me up with the tv and computer watching his youtube music videos. I cant get a good nights sleep. I was wondering if these squares would work by utting them on the walls of the bedroom to drown out the sound.

These are to help remove the echo, not stop sound going through walls

I'm not sure, but since it is in a metal building I am not too concerned.
