Well done! Love the new decals! Elton is looking very spry I have to say 😎. With regard to misting-up, I use those small tubs of dehumidifier crystals in my old Clio. They can be fixed on surfaces with Blu tack or sticky back Velcro, if required. They help avoid misting which also helps prevent interior icing in winter. Thank you for posting.

That was such a great episode and good to hear you're both feeling better. Mr Boo's trawl through Elton's storage secrets was fascinating and, at times, a bit worrying (was something rather embarrassing about to appear?). I hadn't realised how awkward it is to top up Elton's washer fluid and I must say Mr Boo displayed considerable expertise not to mention evident talent as a contortionist. The new decals look great. I think the rear one is absolutely hilarious, but maybe you could have gone the whole hog and simply said (in French of course) "Lorries please nudge me here". That can of puncture repair/tyre inflate only works with certain types of punctures. If you get the wrong type you'll be stuck.

Hey Tim, how did you do this travelling by the 'Dirty Dianna'? Can you imagine, that you did do, without all that stuff.... Sometimes it's good to have a clear out! I do that with my car(s) twice a year; after winter and after summer! I am very interested for your jerney along the Italian Riviëra ❤

You can improve your radius of autonomy by increasing the recommended tire pressure by 0.2 to 0.3 hPa without compromising on safety. Maybe a little bit harsher ride on those rough mountain roads.

its quite chilly in Toronto today. I tell you. I can feel the chill inside the Ami by just looking at you guys and knowing that there is no Air Conditioning or Heater in it. Wonder how much more battery and the whole thing to fit a full air con and heater into the next Ami. I can't imagine getting this without it.

I know the Ami has somewhat Tardis like qualities, but with the spectacular amount of kit appearing from behind the driver’s seat I can’t see how any actual luggage is going to fit. Must be a bit like travelling by Ryanair and bringing only hand luggage (yes, been there and done that).

You also need a driving license. Italian law is different to French law, so although the car is French you will need to obey Italian law and have a driving license.

Are the Amis legal to drive on the roads all across Europe? You did not mention if you needed to get special permission or insurance coverage to drive it in Italy.

Have you guys thought of renting a car for out of town/country trips? You get more storage space, don’t have to worry about range anxiety and you can take the autoroute/autostrada, something you can’t do with Elton.
