🎥 About This Video....
In this video I wander around the streets looking for more Black and White Prints for myself and this time I went out with a project in mind. Looking for curves! Which isn't as easy as lines and diagonals! As I found out.
I also make framed prints for indoors as wall art.

Lovely to hear a real photographer saying “I can shape it how I want under the enlarger and not getting it right out of the camera”. Many precious modern photographers seem to think that getting it right in camera is a photographic law. Great video as always, thanks

Welcome to the "bins" club sir! It would be interesting to hear if it impacts your camera collection. I refactored *everything* when I started wearing glasses, because I didn't want to take them off. Eye relief... the struggle is real. Had to sell my Konica IIIA, because the 100% viewfinder, while amazing, did not play well with glasses. A Fujica Compact Deluxe replaced that Konica. Likewise, my Mamiya 645 went bye-bye in favor of a Bronica ETRSi. For 35mm SLR, got rid of several and replaced them with a Canon New F1 + Speed Finder, which I believe has the best eye relief of any film camera ever made. Come to think of it, you may want to try that New F1, not only for glasses, but because the speed finder rotates to make it a waist level finder too. Great video as always!

Thanks. I was shooting portraits with a friend on his Hasselblad a few months back and I couldn't believe it when he said my focus was out slightly! I do remember struggling to focus not realising I needed glasses! I've yet to try all my cameras, I'm also worried about scratching the glasses with the cameras metal viewfinder. The F3 has a rubber eye cup so that maybe the way forward for my other cameras.

Great video as usual. Really enjoyed it and I'm feeling inspired to look for different angles among the ordinary. Thanks for that! By the way, with overly curly films (like most Kodak films!), I've found that rolling the entire film backwards and storing it overnight in a small box or maybe a tin helps out greatly with flattening the film. Been doing that for over 30 years and it's very effective. I have some archival tubing from the folks at Printfile that I'll put the roll into and then I roll it backwards and keep it in a leftover slide box.
