I'm trying to get the first of the corn ground ready. It's time to get started.

There’s nothing like the smell of freshly tilled soil in the spring. Good to see you back in the saddle, looking forward to your planting and growing season.

Bang for the buck the Deere 5000 series tractors are hard to beat, I got a 5400 recently and it is a good all around tractor, and if a feller hauls a tractor a lot, they are a little easier to move.

Keep that frost up on the mountain. I already have 50 tomato plants in the ground down here in Burke county. I started my seeds too early and the plants were getting too big.

What type planter do you use for field corn vs sweet corn. What plant population do you plant on both. We planted field corn April 4, 11 and soybeans April 3, 12, 13, 17. Raining today. Hoping to plant Cotton May 2-5. Thanks! NE Arkansas
