Because it went over the 64 bit counter limit it sets as infinity like on google if you mess with the calculator and the squared button it gets infinity to infinity due to it going over the bit limit

The number is always 8 off because of the two fours being a "spawned" tiles. If it wasn't "spawned" their score would add the 8 points that it was missing in every tile merge. Besides ∞, of course
