Getting Into Bike Touring as Beginners | Preparing for an 840 Mile Bike Tour

A few months ago we committed to an 840 mile bike tour in another country as complete beginners. With basically zero bike touring experience, we have a lot to learn and a lot of miles to stack under our belts.
In this video, we go over the bikes we've chosen for the trip, the lack of gear we have, and a brief overview of our training plan over the next few weeks. If you have any bike touring / bike packing advice, we would love to hear it!

also, which bike has more relaxed upright position? and can you tell the difference in speed?

The trek bike looks like it’s too big for you. The way you place your hands on the handlebar makes me think you need zo adjust the bike

Steel frame is no more important, actually most modern companies make stronger alu frames. Decathlon and many other companies have good bikes for less/same price ) pick thegeometry not brand. Also there are more options than drop handlebars
