With the SurRon it ride’s more like a mountain bike. The Talaria allows you to grip the tank with your knee’s better. You should practice this at low-mid speeds at first as it allows you to turn the bike using your leg’s and avoid arm pump. Also, you have to break in new tires. When turning at higher speeds lean back while standing on the brake’s evenly as possible but use more rear brake at first. You should feel in control slowing down, practice on dirt at first and when you’re turning you want to shift your weight so you’re almost on the gas tank while putting your foot out to whatever side you’re turning to. This isn’t about striking a pose… it serves a purpose by shifting your weight to the front tires allowing you to cut tighter angles at faster speeds. Don’t accelerate until you get out of the turn at first… especially that setup, you can’t switch to a higher gear to avoid the torquey wheel spin which on that bike you’ll probably eat shit if you try. Only reason I say that, is it look’s like you have little to no throttle modulation. My advice just watching you ride is drop some teeth and upgrading your brake’s. The Shigura brake setup is probably going to be the best money you spend on that bike (other than those Fox40’s) considering your riding level. You want to be able to push your riding control and then speed comes with that. I’m not sure how good the foot pegs are though. But when turning try pushing on the outside pegs which will push the bike down and let it bite down better. When going over rocks and bigger obstacles you want to keep that front tire light buy keeping most of your weight on the back and giving yourself enough throttle so you come down flat on both tires

I appreciate the essay haha bet that took forever and yea I come from a mtb backround with a little dirt bike mixed in there uncles been riding enduro for 40+years motorcross etc I’m decent but always improving and yea I have dual magura mt5s but I will be. Upgrading levers soon I have aftermarket pegs for more grip peg spacer and fox 40s i aswell as shinko sr241 but I’m thinking about trying out a better rear tire made for dirt not a dual sport but I’m definitely improving and impressed on how far I’ve come thank you’d o much for the kind words and help I have a few vids lined up just have to edit them thank you again for the tips and as for your other question if your 6’3 200 you’d be better off honestly with a kx front I’d I bet but fox 40s are a great upgrade over stock servicing them tomorrow haha

I would drop some teeth in that sprocket. It seem’s too high tbh. That and watching you accelerate the front end keeps picking up. It’s probably overkill as far as torque goes. Unless you’re riding some crazy steep trails I would consider something like a 54. I think it will give you more confidence when riding also

Yea I was only testing the torque out of it haha amazingly stupid haha went back to normal 54

How would the stock suspension be for someone 6’3 200/lbs?
@SwarmMcReynolds

Honestly rear suspension is perfectly fine front is the issue I’d recommend either the face ace suspension or the dnm but fox 40 would be the best route or a kx 85 front end
