Hey everyone.
This week we went to Deer Shed festival in North Yorkshire for a couple of days then to London for a friends wedding.
It was a tricky video to film with lots of behind the scenes technical issues, Camera crashes, mic problems, rain, noise, extreme fatigue, you name it.
I did't talk about it in the video because I didn't think people would want to hear a frustrated dad complain about his technical issues.
The result was a lot of the footage we should couldn't be used meaning I had to try and patch things up in the edit which is never ideal.
Anyway, despite the dramas we had an awesome week and loved our camping trip and seeing some good friends tie the knot.

Joy To The World I honestly couldn’t appreciate more the fact that Stef skips on the KZfaq stock music - not only does his song choice help with the whole mood of the vlog, the artists get coverage and I get new songs to enjoy hehe

This video was witty and quippy and delightful to watch, Stefan! The sun flares when Hannah was recording were incredible! And the A-Ha moment had me in fits, especially since Hannah was sleeping! Brilliant video! Can’t wait til the next one!

What a gorgeous film .... a typical summer festival , rain, sun, bubble tubes, flying paper fish ...merging shapes. I loved the smooth transition from day to glittery night and on to early morning with the pop of another bubble. So much thought .. so appreciated 🙂

I often wonder whether you guys have some sort of routine to step back from all the stress of creating and editing the vlogs in order to watch and appreciate the final completed vlog together as a family. Welcome to the Bean Boots club!! I grew up one town over from Freeport, Maine (where LL Bean was founded) so as a kid it was an endless stream of LL Bean backpacks, coats, sleeping bags, fleeces, and of course, boots. If you ever fancy a visit to their flagship store in Freeport, you will be pleased to find that it is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year (even Christmas!), and as a result I spent many evenings/late nights throughout my teenage years sitting in their showroom display tents, chatting away with my friends after everywhere else in our small town area had closed for the night. What a life. So it is hilarious and amazing that you guys in England (where I now live) are talking about and loving Bean Boots! They will last you many happy years. Anyway, another fantastic video from a beautiful family - always enjoy watching the amazing things you create. Lots of love from Julia in London :) xx

LL.bean has a fantastic headquarters in Maine. They also have a huge store and for employees super discounted items. Maine is beautiful, you should have them take you to visit/tour their factories. Also, Arcadia National Park, the coastline, and all the lobster you can eat would be a plus. I think all the bean boots are American made, and for a while, they had a 6month back order on them.
