I love the Masekos. Also got mugged in 2017, Nugget Street. Funny enough, used to tell myself that I will never get mugged and had Ideas of how I will fight them when they try to mug, but that day I just froze and pray for my life. 🤣🤣🤣

Living in the city here in SA without a car, you always feel on edge. Having stayed in Cape Town all my life, it's exactly the same. Last year, a friend got robbed and they demanded access to his banking app to transfer all his funds.

We’ve heard that Cape Town is really safe which is good. I wish the rest of the country could follow suit. A car does help quite a bit too. So sorry about your friend. I hope they are doing much better now 🙏🏾

It’s very sad cause we have a beautiful country. SA is great but Crime & safety is a problem. I left SA to the Netherlands because of that, but sometimes it’s hard I miss home, everything. Because of my kids i can’t go back to SA now way. Don’t want my kids to experience living in fear. Maybe when they are old they will choose to stay here or SA.
