This is amazing. I have been using starnet on the side. I didn't know that you could use it directly in siril!

Oh, cool that they now have Starnet inside siril :D I assume its the version 2 since it can be done on not stretched images. *Nvm, wrote a bit early, you explained it the second after haha

Hi Stefan your tutorial has changed the way I do process my images in SIRIL, thanks a lot!!! A question: When I finish processing my OSC files, and I save them, allways get files of 72ppp resolution, so they are small... Is there any way to get the images saved with it native full resolution of 300ppp? Thanks in advnace...

Glad the tutorial helped! Sadly I don't know a lot about printing images. But after doing a quick google search I did find the following: If you have photoshop image > image size > untick the ‘resample image’ box > change the dpi (www.sitepoint.com/community/t/can-i-convert-72-dpi-to-300-dpi/3127) Hope this helps. - Stefan

What does the multiplicative 2 do in the pixel math? Thanks.

Hi, thanks for your question. So all it does is multiply thenstars by 2. Basically all pixels become twice as bright. That way we see more stars in our final image. But this value is for up to the user to decide.

Good video Stefan! I have a problem, the undo and rendo buttons are inactive, I don't understand. what do you think could be the problem?

Thank you! Sadly I don't know what might cause yout undo and redo buttons to malfunction. But you could try to delete and reinstall Siril Nightly. I hope you figure it out. - Stefan

Most often I do. I try to atleast. But this time it was going to rain in the morning so I had to pack up before I was able to shoot flats. - Stefan

@@stefan_astroAre those circles because of flats? I take flats but why are they showing up in the first place? Driving me crazy

@@raymahl Those circles are dust on the camera sensor. The best way to avoid them is to clean the sensor. Flats will also mostly clean them up, but not 100%. It's better to have a clean sensor than to rely on flats to remove dust spots.
