Enjoy this last weeks togheter. I felt alone without him in my belly for a wile and for me it was the most safe place for him to be. I use to keep him on top of my belly His first months and he was happy to still hear my heart and he never had colic pain. He just laid on my belly and eliminate all the gas.😊 Is Almost 3 now and he has so much fun listning to my heart. Enjoy every second they grow up so fast.

Girl .... its awesome how you're so prepared and Ricardo is with you. I got pregos at 18 and no partner around. I had to work hard with whatever I had, and improvise. Thank god for Babyshowers! LOL! You are so blessed. Thanks so much for sharing Best to you on your delivery.

You are so lucky over there. I'm in Ireland and ive only ever heard of 1 baby shower Here!! so the only gifts you get is a little outfit when the baby is born which is brilliant anyway

Honestly, I didn't have my daughter's nursery complete until after she was born (about 1-2 months old). The main things you need when they're first born is clothes, formula/breastmilk, bottles, burp cloths, receiving blankets, and a bassinet. Everything else you can slowly put together as they get older IMO.

We had our nursery done like months before but actually having the baby home we were never really prepared...even now that my kids are 20, 18, & 15 we still aren't prepared...thats the beauty of parenthood, it's a learning experience everyday...but u will enjoy every single moment😊

I was "ready" fully a month before due date. Expect for the crib, as soon as it was set up I went into labor the next day.

I was “ready” two weeks before my due date with my first. Set up, organization, and hospital bag packed. However, I did not meal plan or freeze any meals and it was difficult once my husband went back to work to feed myself lol. I was a first time mom too and all my attention was on my baby. I hardly thought about eating until I was starving and had nothing prepared.

I had got everything ready, put together and washed and unboxed on a weekend. Finally put it all together late Sunday night. Then at 4 am Monday morning my water broke. It’s almost like instinctual that you just know when to be fully prepared. I would say to have some pacifiers sterilized and ready. I had totally forgot we got some at the baby shower and was so thankful my husband remembered we had them like the second night back home. It’s also convenient to have infant Tylenol or gripe water or those type of things on hand because when you do need them you don’t want to have to run to a 24 hour drug store and buy them. The time it would take is agonizing even if the store is up the street. Every second can feel like an eternity. You are going to be such a great mama!

I loved the part where your dusting the crib that your sister gave you. Its beautiful!! Some other big You tubers would have never showed that or even taken something gently used. Best wishes on your growing family. I'm so happy for you.

First time around you never feel totally prepared. You always feel like you need something specially if its cute but in reality baby doesn't need much but a loving home which I can tell he has 🥰

Was it only me who cried while they were putting up the crib ? 😭 You can really tell that this baby is already loved so much and that you have waited for him for long time ! And also I have never felt like I was 100% prepared for my babies arrival ❤️

First time mom here my daughter is 5 weeks old. When you come home from the hospital sleep deprived one thing you’ll realize that all your baby need is you, a place to sleep, place to nurse, and place to change. I wish that I spent more time reading and preparing for things like postpartum depression and discussing with my husband night feeds (which I have assumed all responsibility due to his job). I got her nursery completed the week before but she sleeps in her bassinet in our room :)

I remember being so organized & neat before baby got here & then after he got here I started just throwing his stuff back into his room & in his dresser 😂 I was to tired to keep up with it! You’re glowing 💕

Honestly I starter preparing for my first baby as soon as 6 weeks. I was super excited first time mom!! I felt completely prepared once I had my hospital bag ready. One for me and one for the baby. Yes the hospital gives you alot of things for the baby but I wanted to dress him up in my cute onsies that I bought for him. Belinda you look so beautiful and I am so happy that you are this excited!!! Your baby is so loved!!

I wanted to give you a small tip about the crib sheets. So I was a first time parent and since I didnt know a lot about diapers (we tested several brands before realizing Huggies little snugglers was the best all around), I would not put on his diaper snug enough around his waist. I was worried it would be too tight. As you'll find out, newborns pee and poop often, so my little guy would wet himself because his diaper wasn't on right. It would wake him up when he felt wet and ofcourse that would disrupt our sleep. So my tip is to not be afraid of putting on that diaper a little snug, but with a little space for your fingers. It will prevent baby from waking at night from wetting the sheets.

That and also since it’s going to be a boy make sure as he gets older his little peepee is facing down 😂. I had a couple of incidents :)

I felt ready about a month before my due date. The hospital bag I finalized the morning we went to the hospital. My water broke and we took our time to collect all the last minute things we may need and I'm so glad I took my time because she didn't come for hours. I have so loved your pregnancy videos. Cant wait for his arrival 💙

My kids are not babies anymore and I’m still not prepared lol. We didn’t really have anything sorted. Even my hospital bag was packed last minute. We started to get things once the baby arrived. I was so excited to decorate but at the time we didn’t have much. Now I’m looking forward to decorating the kids’ rooms. They are much older and I think it will be fun. Thanks for the video. It’s very helpful for new mothers! :)

My daughter was due may 21st, 2019. I planned on getting everything ready, assembled, washed, meal prepped, etc. On April 22nd (Easter Monday). I went into labor on Easter morning. Exactly one month early. Lol. Thank God for family who went to our house and did it all for us.

Such a beautiful video, Belinda! It definitely took me back to when I was getting everything ready for our baby girl's arrival. I felt like I had everything we needed, right after our baby shower, which was about a month and half from our due date. However, to our surprise, this little one decided she wanted to make her grand debut a month before we were expecting her! Let me tell you that at that moment, I felt completely unprepared because we had nothing in preemie size! God bless my family for going out of their way to get me preemie diapers and clothes. Thankfully, my baby is now a beautiful, healthy, sassy lol soon to be 2 year old! So excited for your journey into motherhood! You're about to discover unconditional love! Congratulations! ❤

With my son we got so involved and got everything prepared for his nursery at 34 weeks. The night before I turned 38 weeks I bumped my stomach against the door trying to flee from a bug... I had o have an emergency C-section the next day. Fiancé and I hadn’t even finish packing our hospital bag...🤷🏽‍♀️ I would say just when you think you’re ready something happens and then you’re not anymore lol

Everything is beautuful! But I just fell in love with the bassinet. It was very sweet of your mother in law to gift you that. One thing that came in to mind that I thought but of course I know that the reasoning behind Ricardo staying home is not good, But I just love to see that Ricardo has definitely been a part of it and has been able to experience this with you. That just makes my heart so happy. Again not the reasoning behind to why he's home but the fact that he's been able to be with you is just wonderful. P.S I'm preparing myself I already know I'm going to be crying when I get to see you hold your sweet baby boy. My son is gonna turn 2 tomorrow and my previous child will be 13 so I really have a gap between my kids. I never thought it would happen again that wonderful experience and just the best feeling a woman can experience which is the moment they hand you your baby. Ohh God it's just the best! You are 💯 nesting hehe I remember when I was doing that before my first baby🤗 so nostalgic! I felt prepared with everything I needed about 36 weeks. I had my bag prepped the nursery set. I had all the clothes/washed and diapers and wipes and bottles and pump and all that jazz ready to go. Both my babies didn’t arrive till after the 40 weeks so I really didn’t need to have it all ready that early but I did. And that gave a sense of peace knowing that I had everything I needed. For me I think the most necessary item was burp clothes and swaddles the burrito ones. Helped my girls sleep so soundly and when they started teething (they started early 2 months in) it was so nice to not have a limited supply . Bibs are okay but since they hang on the baby’s neck I was afraid of rashes because of their sensitive skin.

I’m 16 weeks and plan to get our master bedroom ready by 30 weeks cause you never know how long it will take to recover how your gonna feel plus I have a 5 (when baby is born he will be 6) so I need to have my attention for both of them💕 Congratulations mamas

The only advice that I can give you is to put the baby in the crib during the day for naps so that he can get used to it.

Belinda you’re so sweet!! I’m 27 weeks and this is my second pregnancy so I understand not feeling fully prepared feeling. You just learn to go with the flow and as long as you have the basics you’re prepared which it looks like you have all that.

I started watching your videos when I became pregnant. Sadly... I gave birth to my baby boy June 25th. He weighed 1lb 7.7oz. He is currently in NICU and will be for a while. He’s a fighter though and doing so amazing. We weren’t able to have a baby shower or maternity pics and this whole situation has made me so sad.. my husband and I first baby.. quarantine and now this, but. Here I am still watching your videos. Lol I’m happy for you!

I love the changing table! I am currently 31 weeks today and finished my nursery at 22 weeks because I was just way to excited and couldn’t stop once I started lol

Congratulations!!! I setup everything I could and put most of it in the baby’s room. All I had to do was pull it out of the room when I was ready to use them. It was easier to do it before the baby came. 💜

I did a month and a half advance to set up the nursery and hospital bags etc. Also I made sure we have frozen food on hand or friends sign up to bring over lunch or dinner every other day or now you can subscribe to different food services. That's definitely a big help! ❤

Girl I had everything ready at 7 months. Like completely. I wanted to test as much as I could the last two months of pregnancy since I would be in third trimester. I had my hospital bag ready, her room, my hospital registration, everything washed.

I love your channel. This is such a cute video.I could not wait to have my babies. Closer to the end of my pregnancies. Everyday is today going to be the day. Make sure to rest right now because you will need it when the baby comes. I totally agree with your sister with the Diaper Genie. Never used it. Just use to throw the diapers out immediately. When I was pregnant.. I got 2 - 3 sets only.. Coz alot of my friends told me not to overdue the shopping. So true!! Had 2 strollers (the adjustable one was a gift from my sis) . I only used the simplier one.. My baby didnot like to use the pacifier, & clothes were getting smaller every 2 weeks..

I tried to have everything ready and bags packed by 37 weeks 🙂 my little babe didn’t come until 41 weeks so it seemed like forever once everything was ready! I am currently 24 weeks with baby #2 and I’ll already in the (slow) process of getting things ready 🙂 something I didn’t think about a lot with my first baby was making sure I had some comfy clothes for postpartum. Things that make you feel good, you are ok with visitors seeing you in, and things that are very comfy/ functional for nursing. Just something to think about 😊

So haply for you, everything looks great! 🤩 I'm also expecting my first mid-August and we're still getting everything ready for him. The play set looks real pretty with everything being in neutral and wood, however, there is a reason why baby toys are either black and white or bright colours - because babies can't differentiate between light, neutral shades, they only see really contrast colours.

I'm currently 38 weeks, I started getting everything prepared about a month ago, i have mostly everything, like all the big stuff, i know i have everything, but i still feel like I'm not prepared, im also a first time mommy to be, so maybe that's why..lol, I feel like he needs this and that...but I try not to stress about it so much, I know everything will be ok. We finished setting up the nursery at 33 weeks and then I went in to labor at 34 weeks 😂. Your nursery looks so cute and peaceful.

My son is 5 months old and he's in that stage where he is just staring at hands and feet that would be so adorable for him I really want one of thoes!!!💜 I prepared everything right before he was born!! And wants he is born!! Try not to buy everything you see online and in stores!!
