I have the same oil filter adapter on my 32 three window with a Ford 302 crate racing engine.

Works great, without this adapter i would need to run a remote filter.

Why did you have to drop the oil pan ?

The oil pan had a compartment with trap doors around the pickup tube. This made it very difficult to completey drain the milky oil caused by running methanol. I posted a previous video showing the compartment with traped oil. Thanks for watching.
