About To The Core:
To The Core is an incremental game about drilling and using the resources from the planets in the solar system, buy upgrades to drill even further and deeper than before!
A solar system awaits you, plenty of planets to choose from to find and drill their resources, however be careful to not waste any fuel if you wish to drill more of that resource.
Travel the expansive solar system to find planets with varying resources,
each planet is stronger than the last so you'll need to gather upgrades.

More fun to play yourself, can be a little confusing at times but even KZfaqrs cannot capture the feeling of it. Drae’s done it best of the one’s I’ve seen

You should keep the laser equipment as it also boosts all of your weapons damage. Also you can lvl up equipment by mining their respective resources.

For the skill tree, upgrades are white if you have the potential to buy them, green if you currently have the resources to buy them and turn grey when you have fully upgraded that node

Yeah, farms are gonna help you a lot gathering resources, especially for production, so right away go heavy on coal, as it is the most used resource in crafting. Late in the game you can farm almost any resource, apart from few. Side note: life matter used to upgrade farms you can get from aliens on that one planet with soil ;) It's a fun little game, could have a bit better upgrade tree, as late in the game it's difficult to find what you want in that skill tree. Also, they could probably do this a bit differently - say investing heavy in drill, sacrifices rockets or lasers and drones. That way you could have different playstyles available and it would mean you can start over and try different approach. The way they went is just get to the end and that's it. Also: if you want to farm just planet cores equip laser, it multiplies all damage by 300, but you get significantly less resources ;)

I agree with the tech tree part, honestly I skipped most worlds and straight up went around prestiging like crazy using lasers at like the last 3 hours of gameplay before I finished was just running around other places to get resources and then I found out about farms because they were so far away on the tech tree and then I saw how op it was so I pretty much used the farms to farm base crafting materials while I mined new planets I practicaly finished all material techs because some like gold diamond and iron needed a LOT of resources, also tip drone lasers and signal lasers are completely utterly broken especially with depth damage upgrades

@drae You should be trying to do the challenges for the planets. The Fuel Dendency challenge is REALLY easy and gets you additional damage output for the planets you do the challenge on. It allowed me to reach Prestiege 37 on the home planet in like one afternoon!

Nice speed, honestly my greatest tip is to get orbital lasers to max and drones use fuel dep challenge depth damage tech and you just evaporate planets, remember I finished the game with starter planet with prestige 179

Didn't see anyone mention it but be sure to press "Shift" at the start of mining, you ship turns blue and you get less bounce back, Bought the game after watching the first episode, after 14 hours it was beaten (Minus 1 achievement)

Nah, only the mining itself is chaotic with all the explosions. Drae however has to split his attention between recording, speaking and playing so he misses a lot of stuff... All KZfaqrs are just chaotic as hell

So upgrading Crafting with gems. 4:15 before upgrades you were making 9 gunpowder every second. After upgrading it a few times you jumped to 200 a second. Pretty remarkable difference.

Doing the challenges of planets on the top left, you can increase the output of a planet even more. You can do this on every planet and the effect scales with the prestige you did the challenges at.

Can you go back to an earlier prestige to do the challenge to get more resources from the later ones? Or is it better to do the challenges on the higher prestiges?

@@kevinhale8162 You can go back and do lower prestiges, but the multipliers won't be as good as higher prestiges, but still worth to max out prestige and then go a few levels lower to do the challenges, that way the game can be completed within 4-5 hours

Btw shrapnel on explosions (especially missiles) ABSOLUTELY breaks thr game, even if intentional, it deletes cores like nothing

Also Drae if you core a planet the rest of the material has less resistance so if you struggle to core a planet make sure to stick around a lnd clear out the resources faster

Have you tried clicking the green craft button? Maybe you can manually craft?

When you click the green craft button it uses all the available resources into a crafting queue, and over time it automatically crafts them. The only way to speed that up is by spending gems on it, which you unlock later

i finish it after geting 5 cores with good upgrades i just start collect core after core...get speed up so much its make sence when you can get 500 cores, and i never sale resources,get money so easy
