You know I thought I recognised some of these roads, and I was keeping a look out for the signage. Then the penny dropped xd! Always wondered why I never say any NW/N/NE Riders on YT. I mean i've only seen a few rider videos and suddenly you showed up on my feed and I've never seen you before. KZfaq likes to promote smaller channels to me for some reason. I've actually seen quite a few sub 1k youtubers on my feed lately.

I noticed something similar… It’s really strange but every video has a good growth and then goes to zero views in one hit! It doesn’t taper off or anything just flatlines! I need to analyse the ‘reach’ section on the videos from the moment it stops getting views. I think, like you, that KZfaq decides there’s no more reason to push the video into people’s homepage.

I only know of 2 road rage events (if you could call em that) that I've had. 1st, about 10 years ago when I had L plates. I turned right on a mini roundabout, going behind a car going straight on from the junction ahead. He slammed the brakes, blocking me to shout "wtf are you doing!" I responded with "going around a roundabout." He shouted something else and then had everyone beeping him as he was blocking every junction at this point. Nothing else happened. Second one, I was filtering through about 2 miles of diverted traffic. Had a convoy of about 10 cars moved over to let me filter, then some old guy at the back of that set of oncoming cars tried to squash my filter room while making hand gestures. Like, he wasn't even in the traffic jam... Luckily my queue had some nice peeps in it and his attempt was thwarted by the cars in my lane then moving over xD

You find that the more your vid is shared the more the algorithm pushes it That’s why people push devisive commentary, so as to get it circulated. Some of my videos have had 30k plus views but the ones I think will do well and don’t and others get picked up by the cycling community and pile on with negative comments. Funny thing is the more they do this the better the algorithm coverage gets! 😂

Rumble. Because algorithm only promotes what makes them money. The quality of the ads has went down. It's no longer about content it's about their bottom line.

KZfaq prioritises videos with a ranking system, not sure shadow bans happen to normal videos unless you do something naughty.

something i realized is all these content spaces have demonized skilled riding & the algorithm punishes people who post actual riding videos. I believe some videos can slip through the cracks but the algorithm or something sees riding clips & cuts it off from going towards a mainstream push

You really do need to watch your speed mate. Are you concentrating too much on what you are saying rather than on the road or do you always exceed the limits? You are just giving ammunition to the 20mph brigade.
