We spent the weekend getting this area raked, rock picked and then seeded. To say we are tired is an understatement. Thankfully my husband helped me out and we worked hard.
The payoff will be amazing! We then went to a facebook sellers house and picked up 10 Ostrich ferns for along the giant pile of roots and cut down branches. It is a wetter area down there and they should colonize. I love those ferns.
We had them at our Moonstone house and they made it feel magical. We also bought some flowering maple bushes (abutilon) for that area as well.
My husband made a drag for behind the lawn tractor, it worked so well for leveling up and breaking up the clay soil.
