In this tutorial I'll show you the different methods you can use to cut out your polymer clay pieces. I'll show metal and plastic cutters and how to use them with polymer clay. I'll also show templates and how to use them with the clay. I'll also include a bunch of different tips to help you get the best result.

U gave me an idea . Take shrink film print out whatever shape u like. Shrink it and in doing so it becomes rockhard.

Hi! Great info for the crackle cutting!!! I am having trouble finding a really flexible tissue blade. Any suggestions where do find some?? Thanks!!

Hi samantha can you show how u use small cutters, I end up with the clay stuck and cant get them out, when I do get them out the shape distorted, I really have big problems with small cutters

I have the same problem :( Im starting to think it might be my Clay, since I condition them with my hands and a roller, for I dont have a pasta machine. maybe the clay just isnt smooth enough

If you have a small paint brush or makeup brush you can utilize the 'hairs' to push the clay from the cutters. You could use the handle or even a wooden skewer but there's a risk of distorting the clay. An earbud or Qtip might be a better and easier option.
