Wasn't listed by a "best off 2023". Just used it to update and get a Pro Tools recording-studio up and running for a major-label artist with Team Viewer. You guys rock! #RemoteDesktop #ProTools #Teamviewer

You ruined Teamviewer. It used to be so easy to use. I use it to support elderly family members for one-time PC help. It's critical to make it super easy for the client to run. The new interface is impossible for any senior to navigate or understand. They have to create accounts and navigate confusing screens with lots of tiny writing. I've spend hours on the phone trying to explain how to navigate the screens. It's horrible. I've uninstalled it.

Is there a way to use this software, say if the remote desktop were to restart? If not what would be a suitable alternative. (Trying to give access to my server to someone for when Im not at home.)

Yeah, this is lovely and all, but it doesn't tell you that you need to enter logon credentials to teamviewer. The helper may know this. But the help recipient is often a novice computer user. So why was this step skipped and not included in the video?

Be careful of Teamviewer shady auto renewal policies. Contracts renew automatically for 12 months. No link to cancel on site. Cancellations must be in writing 28 days before automatic renewal.

You can enter the ID and password to connect to another TeamViewer device by using the field at the top of the app. Hope this helps!

This video is out of reality. I installed TeamViewer quicksupport and full client, NONE of them offer a menu for the controller. I think it is a bad design when new players get into this type of situation.

The latest teamviewer is so unintuitive, so damn bad and annoying, I couldn't manage to use it anymore. Like why fk things up this bad? It asks for session code, but there's no way to generate one from the desktop interface. I was on the phone for 4 hours with my father, and we couldn't make it work. Fk this!

Why can't companies make a single video people can understand. I'm want a bill p[assed in congress that mandates companies have 800 numbers for complaints. There's no reason for this to be hard you're making it hard on purpose. You say "put in the session code" then HIDE the session code! Where is the frigging session code?

Its like giving someone the keys for your car or handing them out your wallet.. i would use teamviewer only business related or for family members and good friends
