One thing you guys missed is you need to write the1's bin completely in the ecu before you can start writing in the cal's with the user made adjustments. Also another big tip I have learnt is yank out the bcm fuse in the car and you will no longer get chatter faults as i did and end up with a million retries till it bricks the ecu lol

Ahhhhhh yes you’re bloody right totally forgot! We did want to do it on the vehicle so we wouldn’t forget things like that.. will make a seperate video on pulling and re writing the ecu both cal and complete bin , cheers man

Cheers man we’re going to try do a little series on it help people out like we said we don’t know everything but what we do know would be good to share even if it only helps a few people we know what it was like starting out and not having the proper information to start with or the how too

Thanks guys, helpful video. I've been playing around with TunerPro5 with my flash VY to get the hang of what to do and it's all starting to make sense. Do you have any advice/video of upgrading the fuel pump in a VY? I'm looking to buy a Walbro 255 but unsure if I need to modify the existing hanger?, remove the tank? etc Cheers

Thanks for sharing knowledge, i a have a question since a never used this type of software, what exactly are the cables to connect the car to the computer, the one i have id hex v can from Rosh Tech, can I use that cable?

So if I buy a ODB2 to USB cable, and connect to my laptop, I can then tune my truck through TunerPro or another software?

hey guys! love the content ive successfully added efans, tuned power enrichment, shift rpms, tuning for 36lb/hr inj from 24lb/hr stock inj, but i cant find a bin file with a 2 or 3 bar map to get kpa tables above 105 can you help with a boost tune/speed density tune? ill pay you for your time, info, bin file, whatver you can help with please and thank you!

With spark tuning how are you guys dealing with the 700mgc Max in the spark tables? Can it be scaled like the fuel table?

Data log and watch where the curve is , you will find that it pretty much ramps straight to the right side and then just crawls down the cels vertically

@@lshouse9821 yeah it hits that 700mgc cell on the end as soon as it hits boost then goes down based on rpm, essentially locking the spark on boost, I've been trying to find a way to get more range like on the l67 tunes the tables go to 1650mgc so you can have more control of spark as the boost ramps up

can someone actually tune your chip and they live another state and cant up the obd1 up and see the reading they just going by the information you gave them of what you got in your car...i would think its hard to get the chip burn correctly especially the frist time..the reason i ask you that because im having that problem now..

Thats more technical then bmw bins in tuner pro. Quadruple the tables.

Yeah mate Turn Dfco off and use the tracer on the timing table to find where it goes to on decel put in 0- neg 10 deg of timing and it will pop and bang like no tomorrow

depends if its cammed or not but you'll want to play with idle base timing , and if stock then will be a ghost cam so idle afr mega rich and adjust timing till your happy if not head over to rk garage pretty sure Rhys done a video on it :)

I have a 1993 Buick regal with now 96 204 miles on it. After I bought If I received a check engine light for a failed EGR system. I replaced the EGR and the code still remained so I took apart the plenum and cleaned black coal substance. The code went away but in the process of taking the plenum apart I messed with what I now the idle screw thinking it was apart of the plenums resistance from coming off and ever since then the car has been stalling at operating temp. My fuel psi was at 40 at start 35 with engine running. Will I be able to fix this with the program

OK AUSSIE DUDES, so ive got theOBD2 LX. trying to remove VATs and enable fans for 2002 5.3L LS/vortec with th350 tranny my pcm says ser. no. 1220411on it. Got a OBD2 stand alone harness made up attached to my pcm[wires:1,19, 20, 58on blue] Installed LsDroid , neither android phone would register it . now ive got tunerpro installed and cant find proper xdf file for 1220411pcm even if i find xdf file what interfaces with the bluetooth Obd2 dongle? is there a method to use desktop bluetooth directly w/o a stupid android interface shuffling files bank n forth? maybe i shudda just bought Hp tuners ? ive been at this for 6 effing hrs with only a dinner break....need a beer break i think!

Hahaha sounds like a fun time mate 😂 , I haven’t personally used tuner pro on an LS I use hp for Ls , have you been on the pcm hacking site ? Or tuner pro site I know that there’s a few Americans using tuner pro on LS’s , also Envyous customs over here do a cable to suit Ls ( obd2 ) as these v6s run aldl , I doubt you can tune over a Bluetooth connection even hp tuners uses a cable , their might be in not 100% on that

@@lshouse9821 yup found the proper XDF for tunerpro i was able to read entire pcm with PcmHammer and save as stock bin. then i used 2156 XDF for tunerpro and used TunerPro to delete VATs, and enable 2 electric fans to come on at 210/215 and go off at 190 but when i went to save it as modified bin file, it saved, but it gave me some error code saying some checksum files may be missing. what does that mean?
