Karrie, I have a challenge for you. Whatever you don’t dry on your new clothesline, fold it straight out of the dryer while it’s still warm before you even leave your laundry shed. I’m serious. 😂. You have room to fold in there, that’s what the top of the dryer is for and it only takes a few minutes. Then you can bring your freshly folded, unwrinkled clothing into the house and put it away! I vowed years ago no more baskets full of wrinkled clothes to deal with later, deal with it now! Took some discipline at first, but it’s just routine now.

I think we should clean our home in the best way that suits us as individuals. What works for one person may not for someone else. Never allow anyone to make you feel you aren't doing things the right way. Your home, your choice. The little lunch board was so cute and a great idea. Little things we do as that is appreciated. The Dawn company or whoever it belongs to should sponsor you. You've shown so many ways to use the product. Hope you and your family have a great week.

It was DIYFFERENT! They are awesome!

Back in the day, when we were very broke, I used Tide powder, vinegar and Dawn to clean my house; as we became more solvent I bought “all” the cleaners up until recently (I was a stockpiled of “all” the stuff to clean one’s house). Now I am down to 3 spray premade bottles Mrs. Meyers cleaners and 1 quart of Mrs. Meyers cleaner refill- now I have stockpiled Dawn Original, Dawn Powerwash (though I found a hack for that on P), cleaning vinegar, 70% Isopropyl alcohol and peroxide to start making my own cleaners. Went full circle on my cleaning supplies- I will save the spray bottles and squirt bottle (from Mrs. Meyers dish soap) to mix up my homemade stuff. As we get older, we change styles, tastes, ways of doing things, it just means we have learned better and more efficient ways of doing things, different seasons of life changes our style in both home decor and clothes/make up- and changing and growing is good! It means we are moving forward into the next path or season of our lives and not stuck in the other season or path that stagnates us to grow emotionally, financially, and allowing to adjust to changes both inside and outside our homes (our comfort zone). Keep being you Karrie, it’s a joy to watch your mature and grow as the wonderful woman, wife and mother you are!

I recently had to replace our dryer. I was told we needed to clean the outside lint hose 2x a year. Before the dryer went out, I would have to run it twice for one load.

Here in the UK we always try to dry our washing outside 1; cheaper because like you the prices are ridiculous for gas/electricity and 2; there is nothing nicer that the smell of fresh dried sheets/towels and everything else. I have a retractable cloths line and they are easy to install, great video

Your house is so lovely. In Australia and Europe it is standard practice to dry clothes on a line. The sun is great at removing stains and making whites brighter. I only use my dryer when it rains and I don’t like how it shrivels everything up.

I have a clothesline. I have found that if you dry your towels/sheets/clothes for about 10 minutes before you hang them out on the line they are softer when you bring them in. If you just go from the washer to the line your laundry is a bit stiff. The t shirts I don't mind, they soften up fast when you wear them, the towels not so much. lol I don't like crisp towels.

I totally look up to you ladies who have bigger channels. You completely inspire me. I love who you are now. Granted I didn't find your channel until you moved to Florida. I think I found you just as you moved into your current home now. As a creator now myself, I completely understand what you are saying now. I'm glad that your channel has grown. People can't expect you to stay at where you began as far as when you started your channel. The more you grow, the more things you will do. I think you are still budget friendly. It's so weird that people use hydro like lamps on in everyroom during the day. It's one of my pet peeves lol the sunlight is free!

Doing a few rooms at once and hopping between them might actually make more sense. That hadn't occurred to me before. Like empty out the garbage from all the rooms first. Then pick up clutter. Then do sweeping, then vacuuming or mopping. That's a system.

I used to hang my laundry outdoors in the summer (I live in northeastern Pennsylvania), but the area where we had a clothesline has grown up with different trees. But I love the smell of sundryed sheets and clothes. Maybe we can find another spot to hang a clothesline. I wish I had more wood flooring because I love that Eureka vacuum you use. But we have carpeting and thick rugs covering a lot of floor space. We use an Oreck and I find it very cumbersome. Also would love to have a vacuum for the 2nd floor so it doesn't have to be lugged upstairs. Cleaning isnt my favorite chores at all! Would love to have a cleaning service to do have heavy duty jobs done. Loved seeing the fall decor you put up last week.😊

Hey Karrie, I'm Australian and over here every single backyard has a outdoor clothes line. Lots of people also have dryers but we mainly hang our clothes outside to dry. I find it so interesting that isn't the case in the US. I have a dryer but I only use it on rainy days and in the winter sometimes. Always love watching your videos ❤

Assume you have checked the lint trap all the way to the outside on dryer? My son had same problem w clothes not drying & the lint was compacted way up the line from dryer to outside vent

Do you like your floors Karrie? We are remodeling our home and I have a German shepherd and pit bull and wood floors stay so nasty. I want the wood look but tile is so much easier to clean. So debating on doing wood look tile throughout our home
