⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I finally got a Keratin treatment and here are the how it turned out!
Hey guys, I know SO many of you have been waiting for me to get this keratin hair treatment and make a video for you to watch. Well, it’s finally here! :)

For any of you who have never heard of a Keratin treatment, just to give you the lowdown on what it does:
It smoothes the cuticles to significantly reduce frizz.
It relaxes naturally curly hair to make it more manageable.
It lasts for 4 months before reverting back to its normal state.
It enables to you do your hair 199284305395034 quicker.
It makes it shiner
It’s just the f#cking best.
As a lot of you will know, I am a superfan of the hair care brand named bhave. Around about 4 years ago I got my first keratin treatment done at Dale’s salon on Chevron island and I was absolutely gobsmacked at the difference the bhave keratin hair treatment made to my hair. The day I got it done was the day I was introduced to bhave products and 4 years later here I am getting the keratin treatment done again but this time, I’m collaborating with them!
The lovely Jo was kind enough to dedicate a whole day to come and hang out with me down at Phoenix and fire to help put together awesome keratin treatment video and educate me (and you) a little bit more about the NEW keratin hair treatment bhave have just brought out.
To keep it simple, bhave have more than one keratin hair treatment available on the market. The one I got 4 years ago was called the Keratin Smooth Plus treatment and is mainly for softening the hair. The Smooth plus keratin treatment on natural hair for me was amazing but the only downfall I could see in it was I needed to leave my hair completely dry for at least 48 hours. This as you could probably image is hard to do especially if you are someone who is active and enjoys the shower.
However the new keratin treatment that bhave have produced, The XT Keratin Treatment, is instant and allows you to wet and colour your hair half an hour after the Keratin treatment is complete. This makes it much more practical and if I’m honest, my experience with the XT keratin treatment was much better than the smooth plus.
If you came across this video by searching for “keratin straightening treatment”, I just want to tell you now, that’s not the idea with a keratin treatment. There is a massive misconception that a keratin hair treatment is designed to “permanently straighten” your hair. This is false. It’s designed to drop and relax your curl pattern, reduce frizz and then return to its normal state after 4 months.
If you are someone who found this video by searching for “keratin treatment curly hair” then you are in the right place. If you watch right the way through this video, you see what wonders this keratin treatment did for my hair.
If you found this video by searching for “keratin hair treatment at home”, I strongly urge you to not lol. These types of hair treatments are best done by a professional as it’s quite a complex procedure and can certainly result in a keratin treatment gone wrong.
SIDE NOTE: This a keratin treatment on natural hair. What I mean by “natural hair” is nothing has been done previously to my hair e.g colour, chemical treatments etc. The XT keratin treatment is only really suitable for hair that’s in good condition, so if you know your hair isn’t in great shape, you’d probably be best suited to the smooth plus.

My hair was treated with keratin and after 3 days i washed it, to find it dried curly!! I was told it would straighten my hair, and was upset at first, but it still was a whole lot easier to manage!

I love it Thomas! I actually got a keratin treatment a couple of months ago... and I kinda liked it... and yah I was wrong thinking I was gonna be like a permanent straight hair... but you told me it wasn’t, I think was on your Instagram live stream... However this video explains better... And I actually liked the results after the treatment, my hair felt softer, and the crazy curls were reduced into weaves, it made it easier to style it up.. I gotta do it again cuz my hair is going back to the natural way... I am gonna do it again probably today or tomorrow 😊 but this time leave it for 1hr! Thanks for helping us to understand better about this subject! Cheers!

My whole entire family have all done keratin, and they had had terrible experiences with it. I got a Brazilian blowout and it was so good and my hair stayed straight for 3 months and I’m doing it every 3 months

Hey Thomas. I'm getting to the point where I feel I need to do something with my hair now. The split ends are starting to get bad so maybe a trim but maybe also a treatment and advice from a specialist. Problem is I do not know how to find the right person or hair salon to talk to. I don't want to go to anyone as I don't know if they would have dealt with hair like mine before or they may not agree with how it looks. I'm just scared that I'll go see someone and they'll cut it right down or something which would really upset me. Any advice on how to find a decent place who cares? How did you find your salon(s)?

I finally finally found someone that has the same hair as me. At the beginning in the video how your hair is, that’s how mine is exactly 1000%. Because every time I put frizzy curly hair men style. They have videos of these curls that are like curls you can brush and push back. Mine is like yours where it’s like frizzy and all over and you really can’t do anything to it but let it be. I am going to do this treatment. How was your hair after? I love how your hair is after. Thanks a lot for the information and this video

I wish I knew about this in highschool. I have insane curly hair. And I am not very knowledgeable on how to manage it. I never wanted to wake up early and straighten my hair before school so I would always just tie it back. My hair looks very similar to yours in beginning of the video but mine is way more insane. It almost is like an afro and I hate it so much. I feel cursed with this hair but I am definitely going to try this treatment and hopefully my hair will yield similar results to yours.

Well, In my case, I had about 3 keratin treatments in a year and It definitely permanently straightned my hair, the worst part is when your natural hair starts growing and you see the difference between the hair pattern. Also, I realized my hair started getting greasier and falling out more, so I decided to stop applying the treatment and my hair is now naturally frizzy but it's not falling out like crazy and not as greasy as before. Not shading the keratin treatment, just sharing my experience, I have to say tho that for like 2-3 months your hair looks gorgeous. It apparently works pretty well with some and def with you Thomas, so good job. Please update us with how your hair develops. xo

Took me about 2 and a half yrs to get the lenght as i wanted ( lil bit below shoulder) now ima bout to get this treatment ,meanwhile kinda affraid my hair will ended way too straight, my original hair is lil bit wavy and curly but to make it worst after use chemicals colour on my hair , as result my hair look damage and dry as fck, not to mention after using regular shampoo on it gettin worst ,hard as plywood ,then I got myself a pretty good conditioner and shampoo, but after dry couples of minutes my hair starts to look like Oprah Winfrey again , so yeah ima get this treatment 😅

The keratin will improve your hair quality and it will help it grow faster keratin u use it in many ways it doesn't mean tht u do keratin and u need have straight hair u can do keratin and have curly hair it depends on your needs and in 2019 u have 6 type of keratin to suits your needs

Taylor Gene you can get your hair permed but you’d have to do your research to find a good place as its a more out dated technique.

I think this treatment is meant to keep the hair straight for 4 months, I heard you don't wash your hair for at least 3 days after treatment, and all those 3 days you have to iron it, salt free shampoo, and a keratin product to use ... wash it once every two days

To be very honest, I think you hair is great with all the curls, it is like freedom and not attached to whatever. It would be great from my point of view, to have these kinds of treatment and not straighten it, maybe give it a more healthy look rather than change it. Now that is just how I see it. by the way, we both got the same same same same hair type and shape and size.

i have 1 question i have been using a straigthner everyday with out puttin heat protector. ik it is bad bad after seeing my old picktures i was like omg i cant belive this. my hair is a lot tinner. i put shampoo on my hair 1 time every week. and once i put water on my hair and dry it right after my hair is just poffy and really really DRY. what can i do. my hair is pretty long i have an undercut. my hair goes all the way to my shoulders. please give me tips it will really help. i am only 13 and my hair is pretty bad. one more thing i realised that my head got a lot more bigger and really is just bad.i went to a 3 head to a 5 head under a year . please help me i really need help. i will do anything to make it perfect again.
