It's not even about the accent, she just can't really articulate herself very well. Even though she says she graduated from high school, you can tell it was with a barely passing grade.

Nina i can't articulate myself too cause my first language is spanish not english, you have to re think everything to translate words in your head and on top of that you have to make sure that everything make sense, if you don't do that u can't relate. That's why it's easy to assume that she is dumb or she did bad in school which is not the case..

The reason they titled this video "The Michelle Obama of the hood" is because of when she talks about Michelle and how a lot of young girls in the hood do not relate the Michelle Obama for many reasons, but she feels like young girls can relate and understand where is coming from therefore the title makes sense.
