Thank you for this video! The issue with overlspping of companies in ETF'S I find isn't discussed enough. When I was researching etfs I decided on vgs for global exposure knowing that there was a large portion invested in the USA. I had a look at IVV even NDQ and bored that there were significant overlaps so let it as vgs only. Is there a point of owning both ETF'S? Does not exposure mean more gains or is it more risky as your portfolio therefore isn't diversified enough?

There is a lot of stratergies saying that dollar cost averaging is the way to go, and you guys mention this also. I know its not about timing the market, but i have read the little book of investing, and other research that you are historically better off if you have a lump sum invesitng in a lump sum than investing over a drip feed approach.. Although onnce you have done this continue to keep going....if you had your ETF allocations set up if you had 20k for instance why would you not dump it in at day one rather than drip feed it in over months incurring brokerage fees etc....because i am think the theory if I dumped $20k now in 15yrs time it would be worh more as it has compounded rather than feeding it in at $1k per month over 20 months. as you have almost lost 2 yrs of compounding

They go over this in the video. If you did that at the beginning of the iShares S&P 500 ETF you would be worse off than if you drip fed your 20k one month at a time for 20 months straight. The brokerage fees are minuscule compared to the swings of the market, especially when you are talking on the order of 20,000 dollars.
