Fun fact time: -Prosecutor Auchi is most likely a pun on "ouchie", as he's the descendent of the Payne Brothers of Ace Attorney -Iyesa Nosa's name is a reference to "Aye! Yes sir! No sir!", fitting for a soldier. His son, Aido, is instead "I don't know sir!" -Kyurio Korekuta is a reference to "curio collector", his profession -Jezail Brett is a reference to the Jezail bullet, which shot Watson in the original novels -Bif Strigenov is based off beef stroganoff

Most people want more Phoenix but The reason TGAAC is so good is because it's something new, Like AA4 felt like it was a continuation of the trilogy, I felt like I was playing the trilogy for the first time again when I was playing TGAA. Right now (even though this is a spin off) I'm exited for what they will do with AA7, I'm just hoping it stars a new character with a new story but still keeping it in the same Universe. It's not that I hate Phoenix, it's just after 6 games it feels like he has run it's course. also if they do have Apollo in the next game I hope they stick with his backstory and don't create another.

Same here, AA4 is my favourite mainline game but oh my god it suffered so bad from the inclusion of Phoenix. Apparently he wasn’t even gonna originally be in AA4, but Capcom made them change that out of fear of people not buying the game without phoenix in it. As for AA7, I really hope they give Klavier, Gumshoe, Franziska, or even Kay some love, it’s honestly kind of absurd that those four haven’t gotten, like, any attention from the games. Like yeah Klavier was in AA5, but he just sort of showed up and then dipped. Also I wanna see post time skip Franziska so bad

fun fact : Herlock Sholmes is actually a reference to Maurice Leblanc's Arsène Lupin ! apparently, Maurice Leblanc wanted to make Sherlock Holmes Arsène's grandest rival, except Sir Arthur Conan Doyle didn't agree to it, so Leblanc literally just put the S at the beginning of "Holmes".

I swear, if we ever get AA7, the Prosecutor is just gonna have a gun and take potshots at anyone who disagrees with them. In fact, I bet that was what Neil Marshall was like as a Prosecutor. Instead of "Objection!", he says "It's high noon..." and then just fans the hammer of his revolver.

Pretty sure Brett's breakdown is the best one in the series so far, though I still have the final case and the other Great Attorney game to play through, so it might change. But damn, that sudden ASCENDANCE was too good man. Laughed for minutes on end. Looking forward to see more of this playthrough, this is a damn good Ace Attorney game, hoo boy.

Fun fact: Herlock Sholmes first showed up in the book series Arsene Lupin, specifically in the book Arsene Lupin vs Herlock Sholmes. The book originally was printed with Sherlock Holmes but due to copy write Maurice Leblanc was forced to change, even if the change was slight.

So I did some research on Hosonaga in hopes of figuring out his name, but at best, it's a play on his job and stature. On the other hand, I also learned that, according to the official art book, his family owns a soba shop, but he has a buckwheat allergy that he hasn't noticed or connected to those coughing fits of his.
