The comments about spending time with your parents is so real. I’m 29 and my parents are in their 60s. I always have to hold back tears anytime I leave their house when I come to visit. Cherish this trip and the memories you have made from it! ❤

Idk if anyone else can relate, but watching Ani talking about his childhood in Korea and showing the family made me emo cause it reminds me of my dad. Like they would do anything for their family so the second they show any inclination towards something sentimental you jump on it. I.e. Remi encouraging him to stop and visit where he grew up. Idk I just thought it was so sweet

0:37 I love this vlog because not only are you spending time and visiting your parents country and families but because I’m also in this era with my parents. I’m in my early 30’s and idk why but I just get emotional- spending time and thinking about them. They done so much for the fam and I wanna be able to give back as much as I can. They don’t speak English well so I do a lot for them (all appointments) and will always advocate for them. I love hearing their stories of where they came from and etc. There is so much to try to explain but if you know, you know lol! Is this mid life crisis?! 😂 Remi, I saw one of your comments (either on KZfaq or IG) to one of the viewers and you said something along the lines of “being patient with your parents” and I cried. I needed that reminder. As kids, we can be assholes. Thank you.

The best advice I give anyone is to spend a week every year on vacation with your family. It’s sometimes chaotic but you won’t regret it. Even if it’s just a sleepover at your parents house.
